Monday results: Cavs had it, let it slip. Rockets had it, let it slip. Clippers had it, let it slip. So, yeah. Brutal Monday. Also this Celtics team has become the bane of my ATS existence.

Monday: 4-5 YTD: 53-50-3.

GAME: Wizards at Mavericks
 Mavericks (-5)
PICK: Mavericks to cover

Gotta get one right sometime, right? Wizards on a road trip, Dallas has been gangbusters at home. The Wizards are 2-1 as a road underdog, but Dallas just has so much firepower. Wizards gave so much against OKC, hard to see them hitting that level again.

GAME: Bucks at Heat
 Heat -12.5

Miami's been so shaky at covering and just lost to Boston for God's sake. Milwaukee is short-handed without Carlos Delfino and Larry Sanders, but has somehow been competitive over all. But you can't feel good about Milwaukee, either. Miami could blow their doors off easy. Don't like any part of this.

GAME: Pelicans at Lakers
 Pelicans (-3)
PICK: Lakers win outright.

New Orleans just beat the Lakers. Beating a team twice in a week is tough. The Pelicans have been terribly uneven and sometimes just fall apart. The Lakers are a bad team that plays well at home. How are the Lakers the underdog here? This just feels weird.

GAME: Pistons at Warriors
 Warrors (-9)
PICK: Warriors...?

The Dubs should trounce the Pistons on a back-to-back West Coast road and road, but Detroit has been surprisingly tough and has some matchups to exploit. But this is also the kind of bet you talk yourself into +9 and then watch as the Warriors build a 30 point halftime lead when Steph Curry burns the nets down. Scary stuff. High enough to tempt you, but a team that also blows out teams huge when they do.
