NBA DFS for March 11: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy basketball picks

Before you enter a daily fantasy basketball tournament for NBA action on Sunday, you need to hear what professional DFS player Mike McClure has to say. McClure has more than $1 million in career DFS winnings and is rolling through the NBA season, already cashing multiple tournament and cash game rosters.

He has been able to do all that thanks to some spot-on picks.

On Saturday, McClure locked in Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook at $12,000 on FanDuel and $11,500 on DraftKings. The result: Westbrook exploded for his 19th triple-double of the season, amassing 21 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists -- returning over 48 points on FanDuel and 55 on DraftKings. Anyone who rostered him was well on their way to a profitable NBA DFS night.

For Sunday's slate, McClure is all over Cavaliers guard Jordan Clarkson, who is $4,200 on FanDuel $5,300 on DraftKings.

Clarkson is coming off a performance where he nailed four 3-pointers and scored 21 points against the Clippers. He gets a dream matchup on Sunday against the Lakers, who rank 28th in the NBA in scoring defense. He has a strong chance to put up big numbers again in what should be a high-scoring affair.

If you roster Nance, you'll have plenty of cap room for a huge star like LeBron James, who is $12,500 on FanDuel and $11,600 on DraftKings.

James gets an ideal matchup against a Lakers squad that has struggled to guard him. In his last meeting against the Lakers in December, he went off for 25 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists, producing 64.4 points on FanDuel and 68.5 on DraftKings.

With James there's a solid floor of about 50 points on DraftKings or FanDuel each night, but he's also a threat to go off for more, just like he did Friday against the Clippers. Lock him in as one of the top overall plays on Sunday.

McClure is also targeting a player who has been producing massive numbers recently and gets a juicy matchup on Sunday. The stars are aligning for him to score 40, even 50 points on FanDuel and DraftKings, and he comes at a price that won't break the bank. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
