Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez is out for Sunday's home game against the Milwaukee Bucks with his foot injury.

Lopez will be missing his fifth consecutive game. But considering he did some drills on Saturday and was pain free, he could be available for the Nets' home game against the New York Knicks on Tuesday. The last full game he played in was on Nov. 26, the Nets' 96-89 overtime victory over the Knicks. Lopez scored 22 points on 9 of 20 shooting, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked five shots in that game.

He injured his foot in the next game, against the Boston Celtics during the third quarter. Brooklyn is 1-3 without Lopez and on a three-game losing streak with losses to Miami, Oklahoma City, and Golden State.

It's the same foot he had surgery on almost a year ago, when he had a stress fracture in the fifth metatarsal. He had a "precautionary MRI" on his foot on Monday, and the results were negative. He has had a bounce-back season so far compared to the injury-riddled season a year ago. He's averaging 18.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Lopez also is posting career highs in field goal percentage (53.4 percent) and blocks per game (2.5).
