The Nets announced Thursday they have reached an agreement to sign free-agent shooting guard Wayne Ellington, per a team release. 

Ellington last played with the Lakers, where he averaged He averaged 10.0 points in 25.8 minutes, by far the most he's played during his six-year NBA career. 

The signing gives the Nets an outside shooter, replacing the loss of Alan Anderson, who reached an agreement with the Wizards.
