Nightly Grades: Knicks keep digging that hole
The Knicks lose again, the Heat roll and the Wolves drop a bad one.
Each night, Eye on Basketball brings you what you need to know about the games of the NBA. From great performances to terrible clock management the report card evaluates and eviscerates the good, the bad, and the ugly from the night that was.
Every now and then, the Wizards show a little something. Playing at home against a solid Timberwolves team, Bradley Beal put on another scoring show and executed down the stretch to snap a four-game losing streak. This is how the Wizards are. They tease you with what they're capable of, but then revert back to old, frustrating form. Let's see where it goes from here.
|B+||The Rockets rolled up the Celtics, which isn't anything to get all that excited about, but the big contributions from Terrence Jones and Patrick Beverley are a positive thing.|
|D||The Wolves want to be taken seriously in the West. And if you do, you can't go losing games to the Wizards. it was on the road, so there is some forgiveness there, but the Wolves are developing a bad habit of playing down to opponents and losing games they shouldn't.|
|F||At this point, it's almost funny. Actually, it's not. It's not funny at all. It's sad and pretty pathetic. With a 92-86 loss to the Pistons, the Knicks are now 3-7. And honestly, I don't even think 3-7 represents how badly they've played.|
