Each night, Eye on Basketball brings you what you need to know about the games of the NBA. From great performances to terrible clock management the report card evaluates and eviscerates the good, the bad, and the ugly from the night that was.

New York Knicks Undefeated yet. The Knicks got a win against the Mavericks without Dirk Nowtizki and Shawn Marion, but don't be confused. This was a quality win in a grind-it-out game. The Mavericks had chances to pull away but couldn't get the shots to fall, and the Knicks kept grinding. It wasn't their strongest performance but the result is the same and the Knicks remain undefeated.
Memphis Grizzlies bench Memphis is in a solid kind of groove right now, and their bench contributions are lifting them to a level to where their starters don't have to carry the load.
Los Angeles Lakers Honestly, you expect more from the game after you fire the coach. That's usually the explosion game where the team rains down hellfire on the opponent and everyone talks about that being the only problem. The Lakers instead kind of let the Warriors hang around for a while before blowing them out without Bogut. But hey, they're undefeated since firing Mike Brown and doubled their win total.
Boston Celtics The Sixers, who are not a good offensive team, dropped a 105.9 offensive rating (points per 100 possessions) on the Celtics' vaunted defense which continues to be terrible. The Celtics are in real trouble, and while they won't care about it until January, how big a hole are they going to be in?
Orlando Magic Remember when this team was good for three days? Yeah... neither do Magic fans.
