Indiana Pacers Paul George lost a lot on Monday. While the Pacers were getting housed by the Atlanta Hawks at home in Game 5, George's house was burglarized and over $16,000 in possessions were taken, including his All-Star ring, according to police. From Fox 59 in Indianapolis:
Someone stole several items from the home of Indiana Pacers star Paul George, including a platinum NBA All-Star ring, police say.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the theft happened between 7:15 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Monday at George’s home on Diamond Pointe Drive in Geist. Police received a call about the burglary around midnight. The Pacers played Game 4 of their playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks last night.
According to the report, the stolen items were valued at nearly $16,000. In addition to the $15,000 All-Star ring, a $700 “Flex” watch and a pair of Air Jordan 4 Toro shoes valued at $170 were stolen.
There were no signs of forced entry at the home, the report said.
George has had a pretty rough year overall, with Internet reports of personal issues, the Pacers' epic collapse, and now having a burglary at his home. Guy can't catch a break.
