The Heat will offer point guard Goran Dragic a five-year, $80 million contract after he bypasses his player option for next season and becomes a free agent, ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting.

The Heat acquired Dragic from the Suns before the trade deadline in February, and plan to keep him by offering him a contract only they can offer in terms of years, sources told Stein. The contract is not a maximum contract in value, which would exceed $100 million in Dragic's case.

Dragic will become a free agent on July 1.
