Veteran forward Kevin Garnett is leaning toward returning for his 21st season in the NBA, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.

Garnett, who has been hampered with injuries for most of the season, and has played in just five games with the Timberwolves since being acquired from the Nets, would equal the mark set by Robert Parish and Kevin Willis for longest NBA career.

Garnett has averaged 18.2 points and 10.2 rebounds in his storied tenure with the Wolves, Celtics and Nets.
