Royce White is done in Houston without ever seeing the floor.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Rockets will trade the 2012 first-round pick to the 76ers for future draft considerations.

The move is obviously an effort to clear cap space off of the Rockets' books as they make their move to sign Dwight Howard. As the 16th pick in the 2012 draft, White was set to make about $1.7 million next season.

Along with White, the Rockets will send an international prospect and cash considerations, according to the report.

White constantly was at odds with the Rockets last season as he dealt with anxiety issues that caused problems in figuring out how to best accomodate his needs. He constantly battled management about travel arrangements and health issues. It resulted in White never suiting up for the team, and making only a handful of appearances for their D-League affiliate.

The biggest impact White made for the Rockets was really him taunting Kevin Durant on Twitter, a move that ended up backfiring.

The 76ers recently hired former Rockets assistant general manager Sam Hinkie as their GM, who was part of their draft in 2012, which could be a reason Philadelphia was willing to acquire White.

White, 22, appeared in zero games for the Rockets last season.
