Russell Westbrook's Thunder were in the first round of these playoffs, sending the league's leading scorer to vacation time. Some players keep up with the playoffs and what's going on in the basketball world while others choose to check out until they're needed again. This is a job after all.
Count Westbrook in the latter category.
While the NBA world was focused on his former teammate Kevin Durant, Westbrook was busy singing along to Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit on his Snapchat. During the day he works on his game. During the night he works on his singing.
According to his Snapchat... THIS is what Russell Westbrook was watching during the NBA Finals... pic.twitter.com/S2gWlkImZO

Westbrook could have just been avoiding Durant, but in reality it probably had more to do with his hyper competitive nature. He wouldn't be watching the Finals no matter who was in it, because it's just a reminder that he's not there. A guy like Westbrook couldn't stand the site of others fighting to achieve what he's so badly wanted in his career. That's just how he's wired.
His movie choice might need some improvement. I've personally never seen Sister Act 2, but the 7 percent rotten tomatoes score indicates that it might not be the best film. There are better musicals out there!
