Video: Blake Griffin airballs back-to-back free throws
Blake Griffin missed two straight free throws. No big surprise. It's just that both didn't hit anything but air.
Blake Griffin can jump. He can dunk. He can rebound. He can score. I think he might even be able to see through walls and change the weather.
But one thing he most definitely cannot do is shoot free throws.
He's hitting only 55 percent from the charity stripe this season. That's not good. But what's worse is going zero percent at hitting the rim during a trip to the line. Which is somehow what Griffin pulled off Wednesday against the Hawks. One airball is bad. Two? Two is almost historical.
Griffin has been to the mountain top when it comes to highlights with his poster over Kendrick Perkins. And now he's found the other side with an embarrassing double-miss that caught nothing but air. That's one way to stay humble, I suppose.
Here's the video of Blake Griffin airballing back-to-back free throws against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night.
