You have to respect the awareness of big man Rudy Gobert. The Utah Jazz rookie center is still just in his first preseason run, but he's already learning to get out of the way of massive dunks by Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin.

As Griffin was receiving a pocket pass from Chris Paul while he rolled on the business end of a pick-and-roll, Gobert was coming over to protect the rim. This is what centers with never-ending wingspans are supposed to do. He quickly recognized he was about to get Mozgov'd by Griffin and managed to duck out of the way in mid-air. It looks like he pump faked his block attempt on the dunk.

That's a veteran move from the rookie.
