VIDEO: Grizzlies owner Robert Pera can ball
Grizzlies owner Robert Pera can play some ball. Really well, actually.
Being the boss and all, I suppose there's a possibility that Grizzlies owner Robert Pera had this video meticulously edited and made to look as if he was a good basketball player. But really, it looks like the truth is, the Grizzlies bossman can ball.
Besides sporting a sleeve on his left arm which I can't tell is a joke or if Pera takes his hooping that seriously, he's got a sound mid-range game, likes to put the ball on the floor and can extend out to the 3-point line. Maybe he'll sign himself to a 10-day contract if the Grizzlies are short-handed at point guard later this season.
If we were to organize an owner 1-on-1 tournament, well, obviously that Bobcats owner guy would win, but who would play him in the championship game? You're right, it'd probably be Mikhail Prokhorov because beating him could have consequences.
