It's admirable to try to take a charge in summer league. You're showing you're willing to sacrifice your body to help the team, and it's the type of thing coaches will glow about for a long time when talking about you. Sometimes though, you're a small point guard trying to take a charge against a human pogo stick.

Dallas Mavericks' summer league forward Eric Griffin took the pass from Gal Mekel, drove down the lane, and obliterated the charge attempt of Larkin, recently traded from the Mavs in the Tyson Chandler trade. Shane, just get away next time and admire the dunk with the rest of us.
