VIDEO: Pistons' Brandon Knight injures ankle
From bad to worse. It's been a pretty rough two days for Pistons' guard Brandon Knight.
This is what you would call adding injury to insult, I suppose.
In the first quarter Monday against the Jazz, Knight went down with what appears to be a solid ankle injury. Knight was driving on a fastbreak and stepped on Randy Foye's foot, rolling his foot hard over his left ankle.
After remaining on the ground for a few minutes, Knight was helped off the floor to the locker room.
Via Yahoo Sports, X-rays were negative for Knight but the sprain appears to be "significant," meaning he could miss some extended time.
Knight, 21, is averaging 14.2 points and 4.2 assists in 62 games this season.
