VIDEO: Tony Parker knocks down a wild dagger to seal Game 1
San Antonio takes Game 1 of the Finals thanks to a crazy banked in jumper from Tony Parker, just in the nick of time.
It's a good thing Tony Parker trimmed his fingernails before Game 1.
With the Spurs clinging to a two-point late, Parker finished off a wild Curly Neal impression with a leaning dagger banked jumper with 5.2 seconds left to seal Game 1 for the Spurs, 92-88.
Just like Gregg Popovich drew it up, I'm sure.
After the initial shock that Parker not only got a shot up but that it actually went through, a lengthy review ensued to see if the ball was actually out of his hands. After multiple angles and multiple replays it's still not entirely conclusive that it was, but the call on the floor was the shot was good and the super slo-mo zoomed in look seemed to confirm that.
It capped a brilliant Game 1 from Parker who also had this spiffy spin move late in the fourth quarter. Parker finished with 21 points and six assists as San Antonio takes a 1-0 lead in the Finals, by a fingernail.
