Video: Warriors' David Lee to Clippers' Blake Griffin: 'Stop flopping!'
The league has its new flopping policies in place with fining offenders. So far, nobody has been warned. But the Warriors' David Lee is doing exactly that to the Clippers' Blake Griffin after Lee had enough of Griffin's antics.
The league has its new flopping policies in place and offenders will be fined. So far, nobody has been warned yet, but the Warriors' David Lee is doing exactly that to the Clippers' Blake Griffin after Lee had enough of Griffin's antics.
Griffin is a well-known flopper, or really an exaggerator, who creates a ton of a contact and then tries to oversell. A small shove in his back becomes Griffin throwing his arms up as he lurches forward and nearly topples over.
It's why Griffin gets into so many scuffles. Opponents get sick of his physical play and his constant drama on the floor. He's an actor and a good one.
Lee's message was simple: "Stop flopping." I have this weird feeling that Griffin's not going to honor that request.
