Through 3 Quarters

Down one at the end of last quarter, the Golden State Warriors have now snagged the lead. It's still tight after three quarters, with Golden State leading 87-85 over the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Dubs have been led by point guard Stephen Curry, who so far has shot 6-for-9 from beyond the arc and has recorded 34 points. Chef Curry's evening has made it three games in a row with at least 30 points. One thing to keep an eye out for is Kevon Looney's foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Memphis has been relying on point guard Ja Morant, who has 16 points and six assists, and power forward Jaren Jackson Jr., who has 18 points along with four rebounds.

What to Know

After a two-game homestand, the Memphis Grizzlies will be on the road. After a few days' rest for both teams, they and the Golden State Warriors will meet up at 10 p.m. ET Dec. 23 at Chase Center. Golden State should still be riding high after a win, while the Grizzlies will be looking to regain their footing.

It looks like Memphis must have gotten on Santa's naughty list since the squad didn't end up with the victory they were expected to receive on Monday. They fell just short of the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 102-99. Memphis' defeat came about despite a quality game from small forward Desmond Bane, who shot 5-for-9 from downtown and finished with 25 points and seven rebounds. Bane had some trouble finding his footing against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, so this was a step in the right direction.

Meanwhile, the stars were brightly shining for Golden State in a 113-98 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Monday. Golden State got their victory on the backs of several key players, and it was power forward Draymond Green out in front dropping a triple-double on 16 points, 11 boards, and ten dimes. That's Green's first triple-double of the season. Green's points were the most he has had all year.

Memphis is expected to lose this next one by 5.5. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 7-0 against the spread when expected to lose.

The Grizzlies are now 19-13 while the Warriors sit at 25-6. Golden State is 18-6 after wins this season, and Memphis is 7-5 after losses.
