Who's Playing

Brooklyn @ Miami

Current Records: Brooklyn 29-26; Miami 36-20

What to Know

The Miami Heat will be returning home after a six-game road trip. They will take on the Brooklyn Nets at 8 p.m. ET this past Saturday at FTX Arena. The Heat will be strutting in after a win while Brooklyn will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Miami strolled past the New Orleans Pelicans with points to spare this past Thursday, taking the contest 112-97. Miami can attribute much of their success to small forward Jimmy Butler, who had 29 points along with eight rebounds, and center Bam Adebayo, who posted a double-double on 29 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn was just a bucket shy of a victory this past Thursday and fell 113-112 to the Washington Wizards. Brooklyn's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of point guard Kyrie Irving, who had 31 points and six assists in addition to five rebounds, and shooting guard Cameron Thomas, who had 27 points.

The Heat are the favorite in this one, with an expected 11.5-point margin of victory. They are currently four-for-four against the spread in their most recent games, a trend bettors might want to take into account.

Miami didn't have too much trouble with the Nets on the road in the teams' previous meeting last October as they won 106-93. Will Miami repeat their success, or does Brooklyn have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
