Isaiah Thomas put together one of the best playoff performances of all-time on Tuesday night during Game 2 of the Celtics' second-round series against the Washington Wizards, pouring in a career-high 53 points to lead Boston to a 129-119 overtime victory, and a 2-0 series lead.

Shooting 18-of-33 from the field, Thomas put the Celtics on his back down the stretch, getting 29 of his 53 points in the fourth quarter and overtime alone, and nearly outscored the Wizards in that time span by himself, as they scored just 30 points during that time.

Any way you want to look at it, the performance was remarkable, especially considering Thomas underwent multiple hours of dental surgery before the game.

But on top of all of that, Thomas is still dealing with the recent death of his beloved younger sister, Chyna, who passed away after a car accident just over two weeks ago. Thomas was in Washington at her funeral on Saturday before Game 1, and after Game 2, Thomas revealed to reporters that Tuesday would have been her 23rd birthday.

To even be playing under these circumstances was impressive, but the fact that Thomas is somehow even stepping up his play is almost unbelievable.
