Brown has agreed to start the 2016-17 campaign in the NBA D-League, Chris Reichert of UpsideMotor.com reports.
Through his agreement, Brown will be eligible for the NBA D-League Draft, so it remains to be seen what team he'll play on. Brown last played in the NBA during the 2014-15 season, seeing action in five games with the Heat before being waived. Depending on how Brown looks during his D-League stint, the 30-year-old guard could find some interest from backcourt needy teams. With that said, it's tough to believe he'll find an NBA situation that would provide enough playing time to garner any significant fantasy value.
