Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Season-high point total Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Westbrook posted 34 points (13-27 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists and four steals across 37 minutes in Wednesday's 108-91 win over the Warriors.

The dynamic All-Star seemed to turn it up a couple of notches Wednesday while facing former teammate and perennial rival Kevin Durant. Westbrook's scoring total was a season high, and he started building on it right from tip-off. He compiled 11 points, five rebounds and five assists in the first quarter and continued to posted his second consecutive double-digit rebound total in the process. While his numbers have notably been down across the board this season with the arrival of Paul George and Carmelo Anthony, Westbrook has started to pick up his scoring, as he's supplied at least 20 points in seven of the last nine contests.

Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Triple-doubles in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Westbrook tallied 22 points (6-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 16 rebounds, 12 assists and three steals in 38 minutes during Monday's 114-107 loss to New Orleans.

Westbrook put up his fifth triple-double of the season, but his first in the month of November. His numbers have taken a hit, as expected, with the arrival of Paul George and Carmelo Anthony. All three are still figuring out how to play alongside one another, and the wins will likely come. Westbrook has seen his free-throw percentage increase this month, however, his field-goal percentage has been disastrous, shooting just 35 percent from the floor. This is something that should positively regress, but is worth keeping an eye on moving forward.

Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Struggles with shot in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Westbrook posted 15 points (5-22 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds and nine assists across 38 minutes in Friday's 104-101 loss to the Spurs

There may be no such thing as a 'poor' triple-double, but Westbrook came just shy of one Friday despite experiencing one of worst shooting nights this season. He shot a horrible 22.7 from the floor and failed to make a 3-pointer for only the fourth time this season. It's hard to criticize the MVP, but the Thunder are blowing huge leads left and right and something needs to be done to fix the chemistry between their three All-Stars. Chemistry won't help if Westbrook has a cold shot, though. As usual, he's still a must-start despite his recent troubles.

Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Leads team with 21 points in win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Westbrook posted 21 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and four steals across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 92-79 win over the Bulls.

Although Westbrook led the team in scoring, Wednesday's contest marks the fourth straight game without a double-double or triple-double, a statistical trait we've come to expect from last year's MVP. He also attempted only 13 field goals, his fewest since October 31st against the Bucks. Regardless, Westbrook remains a marquee fantasy standout and is a must-start on every slate.

Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Scores 27 points Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Westbrook scored 27 points (6-18 FG, 3-5 3PT, 12-13 FT) to go along with six rebounds, five assists and three steals over 32 minutes in Sunday's 112-99 win over Dallas.

While he struggled with his shot (33.3 percent on Sunday), Westbrook still collected 27 points against Dallas. Within this big three, the reigning league MVP has been impacted the most from an offensive standpoint. Westbrook, who averaged 31.6 points a year ago, was averaging 19.7 points entering Sunday. While he is still in the range of 20 points and 10 assists per game, it cannot be denied that Westbrook's MVP-caliber numbers have taken a sizable hit thanks to the collective presence of Paul George and Carmelo Anthony presence in the offense.
