Iwundu posted 10 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one block across 18 minutes in Friday's 116-87 win over the Raptors.
Iwundu has seen his minutes fluctuate all season, from being a healthy scratch to earning 30 minutes in a game. Friday's minutes total was most likely a result of game flow, as the Magic had the game locked up relatively early. Iwundu has shown an ability to rebound and get to the charity stripe when playing, making him a solid bench player for the Magic moving forward.
Iwundu had two points (1-2 FG) and two assists in four minutes during Friday's 112-90 loss to the Pacers.
Iwundu made an appearance in this one after not seeing the court in any of the last three games. There was a 12-game stretch from Nov. 2 through Nov. 23 that Iwundu saw double-digit minutes every night. However, since that point, he has averaged just six minutes across his last four appearances.
Iwundu had just two blocks and one assist in 20 minutes during Saturday's 130-117 victory over the Lakers.
Iwundu continues to start for the Magic but was basically invisible in this one. Despite the starting role, Iwundu has virtually no fantasy value and could shift back to the bench once Jonathan Isaac is back to full health.
Iwundu will start Monday's game against the Cavs.
With Jonathan Isaac (ankle) ruled out for a second straight game, Iwundu will make his second start of the season at small forward alongside Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon. In Sunday's win over the Spurs, Iwundu saw just 14 minutes of action, finishing with two points, one rebound and one block. His playing time could trend up from that number, but he's still an afterthought when it comes to DFS contests.
Iwundu is expected to start at small forward in Monday's game against the Cavaliers, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.
Iwundu started in place of Jonathan Isaac (ankle) on Sunday and is likely to do so again now that Isaac has been ruled out Monday. Iwundu put up just two points, one rebound, and one block in 14 minutes of action Sunday. His value is likely to be limited even if he does get the starting nod once again.
