Eddie was primarily featured in the G-League last season but did sign a 10-day contract with the Celtics in January and then with the Bulls in February. He's likely destined for another G-League heavy season, but he will use the summer to potentially land a two-way contract with a team.
Eddie mustered 14 points (5-16 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two steals and two blocks during Friday's 105-99 taming of the Greensboro Swarm.
Eddie returned from his very short stint with the Chicago Bulls and was able to manage 14 points on 31.3 percent shooting. The former Virginia Tech forward is currently averaging 17.0 points and 4.7 rebounds with Windy City through 22 games played this season.
Eddie was recalled from Windy City on Monday while on a 10-day contract with the team, and he'll head back there Thursday with just a couple days left on that deal. The Bulls may elect to bring him back for Friday's game in Detroit, but if they don't, chances are Eddie's time in Chicago will be coming to an end.
The Bulls recalled Eddie from the G League's Windy City Bulls on Monday.
Eddie, who is in the midst of a 10-day contract with the Bulls, has yet to make his team debut, but could get that opportunity Monday against the Celtics. Though he's spent most of the 2017-18 campaign in the G League, Eddie does have two NBA appearances on his ledger this season, both of which came with Boston back in January.
Eddie has been dominating in the G-League this season, playing in 19 games with Windy City and averaging 16.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals. The 26-year-old wing will now provide some temporary depth on the wing for the Bulls, especially with Paul Zipser currently dealing with a foot injury. However, it's unlikely he takes on a significant role right away and he shouldn't be someone to seriously consider for fantasy purposes unless a few more injuries were to occur.
