Frazier will presumably play in Lakeland's showdown Wednesday with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants before likely rejoining the parent club ahead of its final pre-All-Star break contest Thursday versus the Hornets. The rookie swingman has seen limited opportunities with the parent club this season, appearing in only six contests and averaging 1.3 points and 0.5 boards in 4.5 minutes per game.
Orlando isn't expected to practice Sunday after back-to-back games against the Nets and Bucks on Friday and Saturday, respectively, so Frazier's recall signals that he'll likely travel with the team to Atlanta in advance of Monday's tilt with the Hawks. The rookie second-round pick likely won't see meaningful run if he suits up for that contest, as he's averaging just 5.3 minutes per game over three appearances at the NBA level this season.
Frazier was assigned to the G League on Friday.
Frazier was called up on Thursday to spend a day with the parent club, but he's set to return to Lakeland. He'll presumably continue to see most of his run in the G League.
Frazier (personal) was listed as active but was a DNP-Coach's Decision Friday against Chicago.
Frazier hadn't been available for the previous three games due to a personal issue, but he's returned to the team and was active if needed. He hasn't carved out much of a role for himself thus far, appearing in just three games for the Magic all year.
