Chasson Randle: Headed to China
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle is nearing agreement on a contract Tuesday with the Tianjin Pioneers of the Chinese Basketball Association, Emiliano Carchia of reports.

Randle appeared in 49 games with the Wizards in 2018-19 but did little to demonstrate he was a viable NBA rotation option, averaging just 5.5 points (on 41.9 percent shooting from the field), 2.0 assists, 1.1 rebounds and 0.9 triples in 15.2 minutes per contest. With the prospect of signing a training-camp contract with another NBA team apparently not appealing, Randle will head to China for what's presumably a better payday than he would earn stateside.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Not receiving qualifying offer
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Wizards will not extend Randle a qualifying offer, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Randle saw a decent amount of action for the Wizards down the stretch, likely as a final evaluation period for a team that was out of playoff contention. He apparently didn't pass the test, and should be headed for free agency this offseason.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Contributes in home win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle was recalled from the G League prior to Wednesday's game against Orlando and finished with 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt) and two rebounds over 21 minutes.

It's been a hectic week for Randle to this point, as he was assigned to Washington's G-League affiliate, the Capital City Go Go, on Tuesday before he was brought back in time for Wednesday's clash. The 26-year-old guard has found ways to make an impact in each of his team's previous two games, scoring 12 and 13 points, respectively. The Stanford product has seen substantial playing time off the bench when with the Wizards, as he's averaging 15.1 minutes and 5.7 points through 34 matchups this year.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Heads to G League
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle was assigned to Capital City on Tuesday.

Randle scored 12 points over 15 minutes in Washington's last contest against the Kings, but he'll be sent to the G League where he figures to see extended run. Troy Brown could see more playing time off the bench for the Wizards as a result.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: To start second straight game
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle will get the start for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.

Randle managed just five points, a rebound an an assist during his first start in place of Tomas Satoransky (personal) on Monday. He'll get another chance against Toronto but isn't likely to play much more than the 19 minutes he was allotted against Detroit.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Small line in first start of season
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle totaled five points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 19 minutes in the Wizards' loss to the Pistons on Monday.

Randle got his first start of the season on Monday with Tomas Satoransky (personal) out, but he didn't do much with the opportunity. Two nights removed from a career-high 20 point performance, Randle couldn't get it going offensively, and he remains an a speculative add in deep leagues only.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Set to start Monday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle will start at point guard Monday against the Pistons.

With Tomas Satoransky unavailable Monday due to personal reasons, Randle is set to join the starting lineup for the first time all season. When playing more than 20 minutes this season, the second-year guard is averaging 11.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Career-high 20 points in victory
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle finished with 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-5 3Pt), three rebounds, and one assist in 25 minutes during Saturday's 134-125 victory over the Bulls.

Randle scored a career-high 20 points Saturday, going 8-of-10 from the field including 4-of-5 from the perimeter. The Wizards desperately need a backup point guard and Randle is primed to be that player. He is not worth picking up yet but owners in deeper formats should keep an eye on him to see if the production can continue.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Surprisingly productive in win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle had 13 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-4 FT), a rebound, two assists and a steal across 25 minutes Wednesday against the Pacers.

Randle has been held scoreless in two of his previous four contests, but he managed to pitch in and help the Wizards to a much-needed 107-89 victory. He was efficient with his shots on the night, knocking down 71.4 percent of his field goals and 66.7 percent of his threes. The 6-2 point guard has seen an inconsistent workload of late, however, which certainly limits his appeal from a fantasy perspective (14.6 minutes over his previous five matchups).

Wizards' Chasson Randle: 11 points in 15 minutes
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle finished with 11 points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five assists, a rebounds and a steal across 14 minutes Sunday against San Antonio.

Randle got to the line with ease, tying his season-high for points while distributing a season-best five dimes. Still, he played just 15 minutes and remains in a relatively minor bench role. In 19 appearances this season, Randle's averaging 6.0 points, 2.1 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 15.3 minutes.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Offering little in backup role
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle played 23 minutes and contributed four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists Thursday in the Wizards' 101-100 victory over the Knicks.

With double-digit minutes in all but two of the Wizards' last 15 games, Randle is seemingly secure in his role as the top backup to starting point guard Tomas Satoransky. The steady gig on the second unit hasn't yielded much fruit, however, as Randle is averaging just 5.3 points, 2.0 assists and 1.5 boards in 16.9 minutes per game in January. Randle can be ignored in the majority of fantasy formats unless Satoransky succumbs to an injury at some point.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Re-signs with Washington
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle agreed Monday with the Wizards on a one-year contract for the veteran's minimum, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.

Randle will rejoin Washington for the third time since September after the team waived him on both of the previous two occasions without him ever having played in a regular-season contest. The 25-year-old will join the team in Atlanta and will dress for the contest, providing needed depth for a Wizards squad that recently traded away reserve backcourt options in Austin Rivers and Kelly Oubre. Those losses could create an immediate spot in the rotation for Randle, though he would likely struggle to see meaningful playing time with starters John Wall and Bradley Beal locked into high-minute roles.

Chasson Randle: Scores 22 in return
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle scored 22 points (8-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT) to go along with two assists, one rebound and one steal in the win Thursday over the Blue Coats.

Randle returned from a stint with USA Basketball to score in the double-digits, reasserting his importance to the team's offense.

Chasson Randle: Away with USA Basketball
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle will miss a few Capital City Go-Go games while he joins USA Basketball for their second round qualifying matches leading to the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Randle plays in Argentina tonight and in Uruguay on Sunday. Ideally, he'll be back in time for the Go-Go's December 6th home game versus the Blue Coats.

Chasson Randle: Waived by Wizards
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle was waived by the Wizards on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Randle did not appear in a game for the Wizards this season and had spent time with the Capital City GoGo. The move frees up a full roster spot for the Wizards, who will likely bring up a two-way player to fill it.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Assigned to G League
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle was assigned to the G League on Sunday, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.

Randle has been tearing up the G League so far this season but has failed to crack the lineup with the Wizards during his brief stint with the team.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Posts 37 points in 34 minutes
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle scored a game-high 37 points Saturday against the Swarm to go along with four steals, three assists and two rebounds over 34 minutes.

Randle clearly asserted himself as a dominant presence for Capital City but there's no guarantee he'll be playing in the G League on a daily basis since he'll be called upon by the Wizards this season when they're in need of added depth at the guard positions.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Returns to Washington
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle has agreed to a contract with the Wizards, Ben Standig of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Randle was released by Washington only a few weeks ago, but it appears they've changed their minds and will add Randle as the 14th man on their active roster. He hasn't seen the court in an NBA game since the 2016-2017 season with both New York and Philadelphia.

Chasson Randle: Let go by Washington
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle was waived by the Wizards on Saturday, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.

Between New York and Philadelphia in 2016-17, Randle appeared in 26 games last season, playing 299 total minutes. He failed to appear in a game last season, however, and was looking to make the Wizards roster. Now, he'll presumably turn to the G-League or maybe head overseas.

Wizards' Chasson Randle: Inks camp deal with Wizards
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Randle signed a training camp contract with the Wizards on Friday, Michael Scotto of The Athletic reports.

Randle was believed to be signing with a team in Europe, but it appears he will instead try his hand in an NBA training camp with the Wizards. He last saw action in the NBA during the 2016 season, averaging 11.5 minutes over 26 games between the 76ers and Knicks. However, he likely faces long odds to secure a roster spot with the Wizards.
