Nets' Dzanan Musa: Sent back to G League
Musa was reassigned to the Long Island Nets of the G League, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Musa has played a few garbage time minutes over the last few weeks, but it's looking like 2018-19 will be mostly a developmental year for the Bosnian rookie.... See More ... See Less
Nets' D'Angelo Russell: Records double-double in loss
Russell accounted for 23 points (9-16 FG, 5-7 3Pt), three rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, and one block in 35 minutes Saturday as the Nets came up short against the Clippers
Russell posted his first double-double of the 2018-19 season in what amounted to his best fantasy performance of the season. The biggest hurdle for the fourth-year point guard's fantasy value is how balanced the Nets are, even with Caris Levert (foot) out for the foreseeable future. They have six players averaging over nine points per game, and Russell will have to distance himself from the crowd in order to really be a difference maker in fantasy hoops.... See More ... See Less
Nets' Jarrett Allen: Posts double-double in loss
Allen recorded 24 points (8-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, and one block in 28 minutes Saturday as the Nets came up short against the Clippers
Allen came through with one of is best fantasy performances of the season Saturday, including a season-high for scoring. It was Allen's first time breaking the 20-point threshold so far this season. The second-year big man has made a leap and is producing enough to garner plenty of fantasy attention.... See More ... See Less
Nets' Rondae Hollis-Jefferson: Cleared to play Saturday
Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) will play Saturday against the Clippers.
Hollis-Jefferson missed Friday's game against the Wizards, but needed just a one-game absence to get healthy. Over his past two appearances, he's averaged 14.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 block in 25.0 minutes.... See More ... See Less
Nets' Rondae Hollis-Jefferson: Questionable Saturday
Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) is considered questionable for Saturday's contest against the Clippers.
Hollis-Jefferson missed Friday's victory over the Wizards, and now his status for Saturday is in jeopardy. Should he sit out, it would mark his fifth missed game of the year. Jared Dudley and DeMarre Carroll would figure to see slightly expanded roles if that happens. Look for an update on his status closer to tip-off.... See More ... See Less
Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie: Manages team-high 25 points Friday
Dinwiddie totaled 25 points (8-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-9 FT), eight assists, four rebounds, and three steals in 31 minutes during Friday's 115-104 victory over the Wizards.
Dinwiddie was excellent Friday, helping the Nets to an 11 point victory over the struggling Wizards. Dinwiddie continues to come off the bench but matched Jarrett Allen with a team-high 31 minutes. He paced the team in scoring, assists, and steals and appears to have been the major beneficiary of the Caris LeVert (ankle) injury. Despite the sixth-man role, Dinwiddie needs to rostered in all leagues.... See More ... See Less
Nets' D'Angelo Russell: Strong shooting effort Friday
Russell had 23 points (8-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six assists, three rebounds, and two steals in 29 minutes during Friday's 115-104 victory over Washington.
Russell bounced back after struggling against the Heat on Wednesday, leaving Washington with 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting. He certainly appears to have benefited from the Caris LeVert (ankle) injury and should continue to have more responsibility, especially on the offensive end of the floor. He will have poor shooting nights but remains a player that needs to be on rosters everywhere.... See More ... See Less
Nets' Jarrett Allen: Double-doubles in return Friday
Allen finished with 16 points (5-11 FG, 6-8 FT), 12 rebounds, two blocks, and one steal in 31 minutes during Friday's 115-104 victory over the Wizards.
Allen returned after missing two straight games with an illness, putting up a nice double-double in the process. It was just his third such performance of the season despite fouling out. The Nets will face the Clippers on Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back and Allen appears as though he should be good to go barring any setbacks.... See More ... See Less
Nets' Ed Davis: Coming off bench Friday
Davis will come off the bench Friday against the Wizards.
With Jarrett Allen healthy and returning to the starting five, Davis will resume his usual role coming off the pine. He's averaging 5.9 points and 8.3 rebounds in 17.5 minutes this season.... See More ... See Less

Nets' Jarrett Allen: Questionable Friday vs. Washington
Allen (illness) is questionable Friday against the Wizards, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
Allen has missed the past two games while recovering from an illness, prompting Ed Davis to start and total 15 points, 23 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 38 minutes. If Allen returns Friday, he'll presumably take back his starting role.... See More ... See Less
Nets' DeMarre Carroll: Rough game in loss
Carroll produced eight points (2-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and an assist in 27 minutes Wednesday against the Heat.
Carroll has struggled so far this year after returning from an ankle injury that sidelined him for the first 11 games of the season. The veteran forward had a career year in 2017-18, averaging 13.5 points 6.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 threes per game. Carroll is still in the process of getting up to speed -- evidenced by his steadily increasing minute load -- but has a fantastic opportunity to cultivate a larger role with Caris LeVert (foot) out indefinitely. If Carroll is able to return to the form he had last year, he would be worth a look in standard formats.... See More ... See Less
