  • Nets' Rodions Kurucs: Draws first career start

Kurucs is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Wizards, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Kurucs will get the nod at small forward with Allen Crabbe out due to a knee injury. Over his last five games, Kurucs is averaging 7.8 points and 2.8 rebounds across 14.8 minutes. He certainly has an opportunity to establish himself within Brooklyn's rotation given his team's recent injury problems.

  • Nets' Allen Crabbe: Out Friday

Crabbe (knee) is out Friday against the Wizards, Anthony Puccio of Nets Daily reports.

Crabbe will miss just his second game of the season Friday. In his stead, Joe Harris and Spencer Dinwiddie figure to see upticks in usage.

  • Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie: Inks three-year extension

Dinwiddie agreed Thursday with the Nets on a three-year $34 million extension, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The third year is a player option.

This season marks Dinwiddie's third season with the Nets, and the team has been impressed enough to ink him for three more. He's averaging a career-high 16.9 points on 47.4 percent shooting from the field and 36.8 percent from three in 28.7 minutes. The guard is also chipping in 4.9 assists and 2.5 boards. Dinwiddie's role may not change much this season, but the uncertainty surrounding D'Angelo Russell's future with Brooklyn means Dinwiddie could see more responsibilities next year and beyond.

  • Nets' Allen Crabbe: Questionable for Friday

Crabbe is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards due to a sore right knee, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Crabbe has been playing some of his best basketball of the season lately and is coming off a 20-point performance in Wednesday's win over the 76ers, but it appears he has picked up an injury in the process. Look for another update on Crabbe's status to come following the team's shootaround Friday morning.

  • Nets' Rodions Kurucs: Scores career-high 13 points

Kurucs scored 13 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt), and produced three steals and a rebounds across 19 minutes Wednesday against the 76ers.

The rookie reached double-digits for the fourth time this year while playing his second-most minutes. Kurucs is only averaging 12.5 minutes per game on the year, far too few minutes to make a consistent fantasy impact. If Kurucs can string together several good performances there may be a path to a larger role as the Nets will likely want to give their rookie more opportunities to gain experience.

  • Nets' Allen Crabbe: Scores 20 points in win

Crabbe finished with 20 points (5-10 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, two steals and an assist during Wednesday's win over Philadelphia.

Crabbe reached double-figures in his fourth-straight game, eclipsing the 20-point barrier for the third time this year. The sixth-year pro appears to finally be breaking out of his year-long shooting slump as he has averaged 14.8 points on 45 percent shooting from the field in his last six games. In the past, Crabbe has been a solid scorer, but has had a sluggish start to the year and is shooting only 33.6 percent from the field on the season, but may be worth a look in standard formats if he's able to continue the momentum he's generated over this recent stretch.

  • Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie: Goes off for 39 points

Dinwiddie amassed 39 points (11-18 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 13-14 FT), five assists, two rebounds and a steal across 30 minutes Wednesday against Philadelphia.

Dinwiddie was on fire from all levels on his way to a new career-best scoring output. The fifth-year guard has scored over 17 points in each of his last five games, and has reached double-figures in all but two games this year. Despite largely playing from the bench, Dinwiddie is a must add in standard formats, as he is averaging 16.8 points, 4.9 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.9 threes in 28.6 minutes per game this year.

  • Nets' D'Angelo Russell: Season-high in dimes Saturday

Russell had nine points (4-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 11 assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 112-104 victory over New York.

Russell struggled to get anything going on the offensive end Saturday, making just 4-of-14 from the field, ending with nine points. He was, however, able to salvage the line, delivering a season-high with 11 assists. The field-goal percentage has been a continuing issue for Russell and certainly impacts his overall fantasy value.

  • Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie: Drops team-high 25 points Saturday

Dinwiddie tallied 25 points (10-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-8 FT), six assists, three rebounds, and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 112-104 victory over New York.

Dinwiddie was excellent for the Nets on Saturday, leading the team with 25 points in 29 minutes. This was Dinwiddie's highest-scoring game in over two weeks. He is putting up some fantastic numbers off the bench for the Nets and has to be in the conversation for sixth-man of the year, even at this early stage of the season. Despite the bench role, Dinwiddie should be on a roster in all formats.

  • Nets' Jarrett Allen: Double-double in Saturday's win

Allen totaled 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, and two blocks in 26 minutes during Saturday's 112-104 victory over the Knicks.

Allen produced his second straight double-double, adding a pair of blocked shots in 26 minutes. Allen is having a solid season thus far but has been somewhat underwhelming. He was hyped during the preseason which is likely the reason for the apparent mediocre numbers. He is still a player that should be rostered everywhere but owners should temper their expectations.

  • Nets' Rondae Hollis-Jefferson: Scores 20 points in victory

Hollis-Jefferson finished with 20 points (7-14 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block in 31 minutes during Saturday's 112-104 victory over the Knicks.

Hollis-Jefferson finished just one point shy of his season-high, dropping 20 points in a victory over the Knicks. After a slow start to the season, Hollis-Jefferson is starting to get things going, having now scored in double-digits in six of his past eight games. He could still be available in some leagues so go and grab him if you have someone to drop.
