  • Celtics' Robert Williams: Playing Thursday for Maine Red Claws

Williams was again assigned to the Maine Red Claws of the G League for Thursday's game versus the Raptors 905.

This marks Williams' second trip to Maine and we're only 14 games into the NBA season. With Daniel Theis once again healthy for the Celtics, there are very few minutes available for Williams due to Boston's deep depth chart. The rookies's first G League game resulted in a double-double of 11 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.

  • Celtics' Brad Wanamaker: Sees season-high nine minutes in win

Wanamaker delivered three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two assists, one rebound and one steal across nine minutes in Wednesday's 111-82 home win over the Bulls.

Wanamaker's appearance broke a string of seven straight DNP's. All of the point guards minutes came in garbage time with Boston holding a 20 point plus lead. The home win must have been gratifying for the C's after a very difficult 1-4 road trip. Boston will face a much tougher challenge on Friday at home versus the Raptors.

  • Celtics' Al Horford: Flirts with double-double Wednesday

Horford produced 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt), eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 20 minutes in Wednesday's 111-82 win over the Bulls.

Horford only need 20 minutes in this one to produce in all five major categories, nearly recording a double-double in the process. His ability to stretch the floor from the center position, especially on a strong offense like Boston's, sets him up to be extremely productive when on the court.

  • Celtics' Terry Rozier: Collects 12 points Wednesday

Rozier posted 12 points (5-15 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 30 minutes in Wednesday's 111-82 win over the Bulls.

Rozier played his most minutes from the bench all season Wednesday night, with his only higher minutes count coming from his spot start last Friday. Rozier has proven in the past he can be effective when given the opportunity, and although he was not as efficient as some would have hoped in this contest, he came off the bench and led the offense with the lead in hand, showing he is capable to step in at any time and produce when called upon.

  • Celtics' Kyrie Irving: Pours in 17 points Wednesday

Irving recorded 17 points (6-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and two steals across 28 minutes in Wednesday's 111-82 win over the Bulls.

Irving produced only his second game of the year in which he has shot under 10 field goals Wednesday night. Gameflow didn't call for Irving to go to work offensively, although he still contributed a nice point total due to his extremely efficient outing. Irving's numbers should only continue to rise as he plays better opponents.

  • Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Leads Celtics with 18 points Wednesday

Brown registered 18 points (8-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and one steal across 25 minutes in Wednesday's 111-82 win over the Bulls.

Brown didn't play his usual workload in this one, but he didn't need to with the Celtics up big. That being said, he was extremely efficient in his time on the court, a welcoming sign for the next few games to come that he can keep his hot hand going.

  • Celtics' Marcus Morris: Out with illness

Morris has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Bulls due to an illness, Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston reports.

It's unclear how serious Morris' illness is, but it will hold him out for at least one contest. His next chance to play will be Friday's home outing against the Raptors, with Semi Ojeleye and Daniel Theis likely seeing an increased role off the bench in Morris' absence.

  • Celtics' Daniel Theis: Scoreless in brief return

Theis (foot) was scoreless (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) over five minutes in the Celtics' 100-94 loss to the Trail Blazers on Sunday but mustered two rebounds.

Theis was making his first appearance since Oct. 27, so his playing time was unsurprisingly brief. The 26-year-old is capable of offering some scoring punch off the bench, but he'll presumably need a couple of games to work his way back up to double-digit minutes.

  • Celtics' Gordon Hayward: Fills out stat sheet in loss

Hayward posted seven points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal across 31 minutes in the Celtics' 100-94 loss to the Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Hayward provided a robust line, but just as encouraging was the fact he logged a season-high minutes total. The 28-year-old hadn't eclipsed 27 minutes in any contest prior to Sunday's, so fantasy owners will hope that his enhanced workload is here to stay. Hayward also equaled a season high in rebounds versus the Blazers, making it a strong fantasy night despite the modest scoring tally.

  • Celtics' Al Horford: Solid all-around line in loss

Horford provided 10 points (4-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks across 34 minutes in the Celtics' 100-94 loss to the Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Horford struggled with his shot for the first time all month, but he made up for it with his best rebounding total since Oct. 25. The 32-year-old has been particularly sharp on the defensive end lately, as he's recorded multiple blocks in three straight games. Horford's scoring continues to see occasional dips, but his typically strong work elsewhere keeps him productive in all formats.
