Nuggets' Malik Beasley: Scores 12 points in 22 minutes
Beasley produced 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-7 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 22 minutes during Monday's 104-98 loss to the Bucks.
Beasley saw some nice minutes off the bench Monday, finishing with double-digits for just the sixth time this season. Beasley is a solid rotation guy but offers very little upside, leaving him as a deeper league option at best.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Almost triple-doubles in loss
Murray totaled 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine assist,s eight rebounds, and one block in 36 minutes during Monday's 104-98 loss to the Bucks.
Murray had a season-high with nine assists Monday, but could not help the Nuggets in avoiding their sixth loss from their past seven games. Along with a number of other Nuggets players, Murray has had a somewhat slow start to the fantasy season, brought on in part by the fact he may have been overhyped leading up to drafts. The Nuggets should be able to turn things around soon and with that, Murray will likely get his offensive groove going once again.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Far from spectacular in loss
Jokic finished with 20 points (8-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebound, five assists, and one steal in 32 minutes during Monday's 104-98 loss to Milwaukee.
Jokic was solid Monday, but those with him on their rosters would be hoping for more. The Nuggets still sit at 10-and-7 for the season but have now lost six of their past seven games. If anything, Jokic has been somewhat of a letdown so far this season after being hyped across the preseason. The Nuggets will travel to Minnesota to face the Timberwolves on Wednesday, hoping to get back in the winners' circle.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Torrey Craig: Seemingly healthy, fails to play
Craig (hamstring) didn't take the court for Monday's game against Milwaukee although he was in uniform and listed as active.
Craig was a DNP-CD, so even though he didn't see any action, it appears he was available if necessary. His next opportunity to take the court will come Wednesday in Minnesota.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Torrey Craig: Probable for Monday
Craig (hamstring) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Bucks, Brandon Ewing of Mile High Sports reports.
This is an improvement for Craig after he was listed as questionable for Saturday's game and ultimately didn't play. The 27-year-old has played sporadically when healthy in November, seeing anywhere from 21 to three minutes over seven games.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Monte Morris: Plays 34 minutes Saturday
Morris contributed 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), five assists, and three rebounds in 34 minutes during Saturday's 125-115 loss to the Pelicans.
Morris shifted back to the bench Saturday, finishing with 13 points and five assists. He functions better in a bench role as opposed to a starter and this was evident here. This was his highest minutes total of the season and with his recent form, that appears to be a trend that is not going to stop. He is a fringe standard league option right now but could take a hit with the eventual return of Will Barton.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Gary Harris: Plays season-high 39 minutes in loss
Harris tallied 24 points (9-16 FG, 6-9 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block in 38 minutes during Saturday's 125-115 loss to New Orleans.
Harris connected on a season-high six three-pointers Saturday, managing his highest points total in almost a month. Harris has been somewhat of a disappointment so far this season, however, has now hit a combined 13 triples across his last four games while chipping in with eight steals. The buy-low could be closing after an effort like this and moving forward, Harris should be able to maintain top 50 value.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Almost triple-doubles in loss
Jokic had 25 points (10-20 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists, and one steal in 34 minutes during Saturday's 125-115 loss to the Pelicans.
Jokic came within two assists of another triple-double Saturday, despite the team going down by 10 points to the Pelicans. He sent a scare out when he appeared to injure his leg but he did return and appeared untroubled. There is no word on an injury although owners will want to keep an eye on things heading into tomorrow, the second game of a back-to-back set.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Juancho Hernangomez: Double-doubles in loss Saturday
Hernangomez finished with 20 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, and one block in 35 minutes during Saturday's 125-115 loss to the Pelicans.
Hernangomez has now played at least 30 minutes in four consecutive games and appears to have a firm grasp on the starting small forward position. He is averaging 22.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.0 triples over his last two games. These numbers are likely unsustainable but he is worth a look in standard formats, at least until Will Barton (groin) returns.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Thomas Welsh: Back from G League
Welsh was recalled from the G League on Saturday, TJ McBride of Mile High Sports reports.
Welsh had been spending time with the Capital City GoGo, but he'll be back with the Nuggets on Saturday to provide emergency depth at center.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Torrey Craig: Questionable for Saturday
Craig (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday's game against New Orleans, Harrison Wind of BSNDenver.com reports.
It's unknown when Craig started feeling tightness in his left hamstring and as a result will be listed as questionable for Saturday's date versus the Pelicans. If Craig doesn't play Saturday, Juancho Hernangomez and and Malik Beasley will likely see increased usage.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Reduced playing time in blowout
Jokic tallied 12 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and one block in 25 minutes during Thursday's 138-93 victory over Atlanta.
Jokic appeared fully healthy Thursday despite the slight injury concern prior to the game. The limited minutes were simply a result of the game being well and truly over by halftime. In his 25 minutes on the floor, Jokic still managed to contribute across the board including matching his season-high of four steals. He is not as prolific a scorer as some other fantasy studs but will likely be in the discussion to finish the season as a top-five player.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Monte Morris: Scores eight points in start
Morris totaled eight points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 29 minutes during Thursday's 138-93 victory over the Hawks.
Morris replaced Jamal Murray in the starting lineup but failed to produce anything too spectacular. While on the surface, a move like this would appear to increase Morris' value, the opposite may, in fact, be the case. Playing alongside Nikola Jokic and the other starters certainly reduces Morris' usage and subsequent production. The promotion was likely a spot start as Jamal Murray was disciplined for a breach of team rules. Nonetheless, Morris remains more of a deep league option at this stage.... See More ... See Less
Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Will return to starting lineup
Murray came off the bench Thursday due to a small violation of team rules but is expected to return to his starting role Saturday against the Pelicans, Christian Clark of BSNDenver.com reports.
It was quite the head scratcher when the Nuggets announced Monte Morris would join the starting lineup Thursday considering Murray had started every contest so far this season. Off the bench he was able to contribute 14 points (4-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five assists, four rebounds and a block across 23 minutes.... See More ... See Less
