Pistons' Reggie Bullock: Scores 21 in win over Cavs
Bullock scored 21 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT) while adding four assists and a rebound in 31 minutes during Monday's 113-102 win over the Cavaliers.
Cleveland had no luck containing Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin on the glass, but they also struggled to guard Bullock out on the perimeter as he topped 20 points for the second time in the last three games. The 27-year-old is now shooting 48.3 percent (14-for-29) from beyond the arc over his last four games, and while Reggie Jackson is the more consistent outside scoring option for the Pistons, Bullock is flashing his upside and could see his role in the offense continue to grow.... Pistons' Blake Griffin: Double-double in win over Cavs
Griffin scored 21 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT) while adding 12 rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block in 37 minutes during Monday's 113-102 win over the Cavaliers.
The Pistons' frontcourt duo of Griffin and Andre Drummond bullied the overmatched Cavs all night, and both struck for 20-plus points and double-doubles. Griffin already has eight double-doubles in 14 games this season after managing 16 in 58 games last year, and he's averaging more than 10 boards a night for the first time in seven years.... Pistons' Andre Drummond: Another big double-double in win
Drummond scored 23 points (10-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while adding 16 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 39 minutes during Monday's 113-102 win over the Cavaliers.
The points, boards and blocks were all game highs, as the Cavs simply had no one who could match up with Drummond down low. It's his sixth straight double-double and 12th in 14 games to begin the season, as the 25-year-old seems headed for a career year under new Pistons coach Dwane Casey.... See More ... See Less
Pistons' Luke Kennard: Goes through shooting drills
Kennard (shoulder) was able to complete some shooting drills during Saturday's practice, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Kennard is midway through his mandatory two-week shutdown period for rehab, so the Pistons should have another update on a potential return date by early next week. The second-year shooting guard hasn't played since Oct. 25 while battling the AC Joint sprain in his right shoulder that has restricted his range of motion.... See More ... See Less
Pistons' Bruce Brown: Assigned to Grand Rapids
Brown was assigned to the Grand Rapids Drive of the G League on Thursday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Brown has recently fallen out of the Pistons regular rotation, and with the Pistons out of commission until Monday, the rookie will have a good opportunity with the Drive this weekend to get some on-court action. Grand Rapids will play a back-to-back set Friday and Saturday against Windy City and Canton.... See More ... See Less
Pistons' Khyri Thomas: Headed back to G League
Thomas was assigned to the G League on Thursday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Thomas, who was recalled from the G League on Monday, has appeared in just one game for the Pistons this season. Thomas will be available for the Drive's back-to-back set Friday and Saturday against the Windy City Bulls and Canton Charge.... See More ... See Less
Pistons' Henry Ellenson: Assigned to G League
Ellenson was assigned to the Grand Rapids Drive of the G League on Thursday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

Pistons' Reggie Jackson: Posted 13 points Wednesday
Jackson registered 13 points (6-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six assists and one rebound across 27 minutes in Wednesday's 106-104 win over the Raptors.
Jackson has struggled to do much this year besides score and assist, which limits his value from the guard position. He has season averages of 2.5 rebounds, 0.3 steals, and 0.1 blocks to go along with 15.7 points and 4.1 assists per game. While he remains a solid asset, Jackson will need to get more involved feeding his teammates rather than trying to fill the stat sheet by himself going forward.... See More ... See Less
Pistons' Reggie Bullock: Hits game-winner Wednesday
Bullock produced five points (2-9 FG, 1-7 3Pt), two assists, two steals and one rebound across 29 minutes in Wednesday's 106-104 win over the Raptors.
Bullock was horrific shooting the ball in this one, as nearly all of his shots came from three-point territory, of which he hit just one of his attempts. That being said, Bullock hit a floated in the paint as time expired to lift the Pistons to a win, so his lineup spot should remain secure after performing a clutch play over one of the League's best teams.... Pistons' Blake Griffin: Fills up stat sheet in victory
Griffin posted 30 points (13-22 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks across 40 minutes Wednesday in the Pistons' 106-104 win over the Raptors.
Griffin helped guide the Pistons to a 19-point comeback victory, with his production on the defensive end in particular standing out. The power forward had registered no more than two steals or one block in any of the Pistons' first 12 games, but topped both marks Wednesday. His 13 made field goals on the evening were also his most since his memorable 50-point outing Oct. 23 against the 76ers. The strong all-around outing was an encouraging sign after Griffin had averaged just 12.0 points (on 30.2 percent shooting from the field), 6.7 boards, 5.7 assists, 1.0 steal and 0.3 blocks over the prior three contests.... Pistons' Andre Drummond: Double-doubles Wednesday
Drummond posted 11 points (5-15 FG, 1-4 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and one block across 36 minutes in Wednesday's 106-104 win over the Raptors.
Drummond was not at his best Wednesday night, but he did just enough to earn himself his fifth consecutive double-double and get his team a win. His scoring drop can be directly related to his lack of efficiency and inability to get to the charity stripe, two fads that will most likely be outliers rather than the norm.... See More ... Pistons' Luke Kennard: Out another two weeks
Kennard (shoulder) underwent an evaluation this week and will go through at least two more weeks of rehab, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Kennard appears to be progressing well in his rehab from an AC joint sprain he suffered near the end of October, but he is still a ways away from being able to partake in basketball activities. Expect another update on the shooting guard's progress in another two weeks or so.... See More ... See Less
Pistons' Reggie Bullock: Drops season-high 23 in loss to Hornets
Bullock scored 23 points (7-13 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while adding three rebounds, two assists and a steal in 34 minutes during Sunday's 113-103 loss to the Hornets.
He tied Andre Drummond for the team lead in scoring while posting his best point total, and doubling his previous best in made three-pointers, through nine games this season. Bullock appears fully recovered from the ankle injury that cost him the first two games in November, and the 27-year-old could be headed for a career year providing a secondary scoring threat on the outside for the Pistons.... Pistons' Andre Drummond: 20-20 performance in loss to Hornets
Drummond scored 23 points (9-16 FG, 5-7 FT) while adding 22 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in 37 minutes during Sunday's 113-103 loss to the Hornets.
It's his fourth straight double-double, and his fifth game already this season with at least 20 points and 20 boards. Drummond is once again leading the NBA in rebounding, and after grabbing a career-high 16.0 boards per game last season, the 25-year-old center seems intent on topping that number in 2018-19.... Pistons' Khyri Thomas: Recalled from G-League
Thomas has been recalled from the G-League for Sunday's game against the Hornets, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
Thomas has seen just four minutes of NBA action this season, so he is likely being called up to provide Detroit with some depth at the wing. He has bounced back and forth between the two leagues this season, and will likely go back down to continue to get some in-game action.... See More ... See Less
