Top Bucks News

  • Bucks' Eric Bledsoe: Has three steals Sunday

Bledsoe totaled 12 points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block in 30 minutes during Sunday's 121-114 victory over Denver.

Bledsoe continues to trend in the right direction despite scoring just 12 points Sunday. Scoring for this team is quite often shared around but it has been his improved efforts on the defensive end that has buoyed his overall value. He has recorded five steals across his last two games after managing just three in his previous eight games. Defense is where a large portion of his value lies and if he can stay at this level moving forward, owners will be thrilled.

  • Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Close to triple-double Sunday

Antetokounmpo totaled 22 points (11-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-5 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one block in 36 minutes during Sunday's 121-114 victory over the Nuggets.

Antetokounmpo was excellent for the Bucks Sunday, coming within inches of recording another triple-double. The numbers were nice here but the 0-of-5 from the charity stripe is a big negative. His free-throws continue to be an issue, especially as he gets to the line with some regularity. His other numbers remain fine and despite the efficiency concerns, he should be a top-eight player moving forward.

  • Bucks' Malcolm Brogdon: Has 20 points Sunday

Brogdon managed 20 points (7-13 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-114 victory over Denver.

Don't look now but Brogdon has scored at least 20 points in three consecutive games while also managing to contribute in other areas. Playing as the fourth or fifth option on offense means Brogdon doesn't have the highest ceiling but he certainly has provided some consistency. He has scored in double-figures in all but two games while chipping in with some rebounds and assists. He is a borderline standard league player who will not destroy you in any category.

  • Bucks' Brook Lopez: Drains eight triples Sunday

Lopez finished with 28 points (10-17 FG, 8-13 3Pt), four rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 121-114 victory over the Nuggets.

Lopez went off for a season-high 28 points Sunday including a career-best eight three-pointers. That makes 14 triples in his last two games combined as well as five blocks. He is a perfect fit for the Bucks and after somewhat of a slow start, seems to be finding his rhythm offensively. If you having him sitting on your bench, it might be time to get him active.

  • Bucks' Brook Lopez: Scores 20 points in 37 minutes

Lopez posted 20 points (6-12 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three blocks in 37 minutes Saturday in Milwaukee's loss to Los Angeles.

Lopez's renaissance as a big man who lives behind the arc is nothing short of remarkable. In 37 minutes of playing time, the vet attempted 12 shots from three-point range and knocked down six of them. The attempts marked a season-high, but what it's most notable that he didn't register a field-goal attempt from inside the arc. According to Cleaning the Glass, he has attempted 16-percent of his shots from within four feet of the basket, compared to 70-percent from beyond the three-point line. These developments are enough reason to keep tabs on him from a game-to-game basis but don't rely on him to a be a consistent producer.

  • Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Posts monster double-double in loss to Clippers

Antetokounmpo recorded 27 points (11-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-11 FT), 18 rebounds, four assists, five steals, and two blocks in 41 minutes Saturday in Milwaukee's loss to Los Angeles.

Antetokounmpo did it all for Milwaukee Saturday, as is tradition. After falling one rebound short of a double-double in back-to-back games, he matched a season-high with 18 boards and matched a career-high with five steals. The sixth-year forward is a consistent three-point shot away from being the perfect fantasy player and there are very few players who provide as much value as him on a nightly basis. If you own stock in him, you already know this.

  • Bucks' Pat Connaughton: Bench-leading scoring total in win

Connaughton poured in 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and added four rebounds, two assists and one block across 21 minutes in the Bucks' 134-111 win over the Warriors on Thursday.

The fourth-year guard continues to enjoy a relatively consistent role off the bench, and Thursday's effort represented his second double-digit scoring tally in four November contests. Connaughton logged a career-high 18.1 minutes in Portland last season, and he could be headed for a similar allotment of playing time as a source of scoring off the Bucks bench as the current campaign unfolds. Factoring in Thursday's production, Connaughton is averaging a career-best 7.1 points and 4.4 rebounds over his first eight games.

  • Bucks' Khris Middleton: Solid stat line in big win

Middleton supplied 17 points (6-16 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six assists, three rebounds, three steals and one block across 29 minutes in the Bucks' 134-111 win over the Warriors on Thursday.

Middleton's night could have been exponentially better had it not been for some struggles from the field, but he still finished with a strong stat line overall. The versatile wing has scored in double digits in every game this season, and he has plenty of room for improvement considering he's shooting a career-low 43.6 percent. However, the majority of his struggles have ironically come from in front of the arc, as he boasts a career-best 45.5 percent success rate from distance.

  • Bucks' Malcolm Brogdon: Heats up from field in win

Brogdon generated 20 points (9-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and two steals across 25 minutes in the Bucks' 134-111 win over the Warriors on Thursday.

Brogdon played a key role in the signature victory, and his 64.3 percent success rate from the floor was his third highest of the season. It also represented a nice resurgence for the third-year guard, who'd equaled a season low by draining just 25.0 percent of his attempts Tuesday against the Trail Blazers. Outside of a couple of clunkers, Brogdon is enjoying a solid campaign, as he currently boasts career highs in points (13.1) and rebounds (3.7), while also draining his attempts at a career-best 50.5 percent clip (including 43.2 percent from three-point range).

  • Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Near double-double in signature win

Antetokounmpo provided 24 points (7-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 10-11 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks across 26 minutes in the Bucks' 134-111 win over the Warriors on Thursday.

For a change, Antetkounmpo didn't serve as the top scorer on the night for the Bucks, as that mantle was held by Eric Bledsoe. However, the Greek Freak still provided an excellent and typically well-balanced stat line, scoring over 20 points for the fifth straight game. He also continues to unsurprisingly serve as a formidable force on the boards, as Thursday's contest marked his fourth consecutive with at least nine rebounds. The 23-year-old naturally continues to be one of the league's elite fantasy options, regardless of format.

  • Bucks' Eric Bledsoe: Bounces back in big win

Bledsoe generated 26 points (10-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six assists, four rebounds and one steal across 26 minutes in the Bucks' 134-111 win over the Warriors on Thursday.

After struggling with his shot in a loss to the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, Bledsoe bounced back with his sharpest performance of the campaign. The veteran's 83.3 percent success rate was a season-high figure, and it led to a season-best point total as well. Bledsoe was also active on the assists and rebounding fronts, making it a strong night all around. Plagued by some inconsistency that had seen him score in single digits in three of five games prior to Thursday's, Bledsoe and his fantasy owners will hope his effort against the Warriors serves as a launch point for an extended stretch of strong production.
