  • Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Confirmed out Monday

Westbrook (ankle) will not play Monday against the Suns, Brett Dawson of The Athletic confirms.

The Thunder listed Westbrook as "out" on their game notes, so Dawson's report confirms what was anticipated. Westbrook will miss a fourth straight game as he nurses an ankle sprain, and his next chance to play will come Wednesday when the Thunder host the Knicks.

  • Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Listed as out for Monday

Westbrook (ankle) is listed as out for Monday's game against the Suns, Gina Mizell of The Athletic reports.

Westbrook is set to miss his fourth straight game as he is dealing with a left ankle sprain. Dennis Schroeder has been starting in place of Westbrook, and will likely continue to start in his place. His next opportunity to suit up will be Wednesday against the Knicks, and he should be considered questionable for that contest at this time.

  • Thunder's Dennis Schroder: Contributes 19 points in third consecutive start

Schroder posted 19 points (8-21 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals across 31 minutes in Saturday's 111-96 loss to the Mavericks.

While Schroder has been serviceable as Russell Westbrook's (ankle) replacement, he can't possibly be expected to mirror the All-Star point guard's production. He's been a wildly popular DFS target in Westbrook's absence, but his salary has risen to an untenable point relative to his value. Schroder's production is entirely dependent on Westbrook's health, which hinders his long-term prospects as a productive fantasy option.

  • Thunder's Steven Adams: Records sixth double-double of season Saturday

Adams posted 20 points (9-11 FG, 4-8 FT) 13 rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes during Saturday's 111-96 loss to the Mavericks.

Adams is currently enjoying the best season averages of his six-year career, as he came into tonight's game averaging a career-best 14.5 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. Some of his success can probably be attributed to Russell Westbrook's sporadic appearances on the floor in the early going, but it's obvious that Adams is making strides in his own right. He's attempting almost 10 shots per game on average, which is the most he's averaged in his career, yet he's connecting on almost 60 percent of those shots.

  • Thunder's Paul George: Records double-double Saturday

George recorded 20 points (8-21 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists and two steals across 38 minutes in Saturday's 111-96 loss to the Mavericks.

George and Steven Adams shared the sane point and rebound totals in the loss. While George coughed up the ball five times and only connected on three of his nine 3-point attempts, he still put together a decent stat line. With Russell Westbrook (back) out, George becomes the linchpin for the Thunder on both ends of the floor, and he's one of the main reasons why Oklahoma City is 7-5 after spending five of 12 games without their All-Star point guard.

  • Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Out Saturday vs. Mavericks

Westbrook (ankle) is out for Saturday's game against the Mavericks, Brett Dawson of The Athletic reports.

Westbrook will miss his third straight game Saturday while recovering from a sprained left ankle. In his stead, Dennis Schroder should continue starting at point guard. Westbrook's next chance to take the floor arrives Monday against the Suns.

  • Thunder's Steven Adams: Scores season high

Adams contributed 19 points (7-12 FG, 5-9 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals in 32 minutes Thursday against the Rockets.

The large New Zelander has one of his best games of the season, recording a season-high is both points and assists. Adams is an admirable third-option for the Thunder and always manages to hold strong value with his rebounding, field-goal percentage and defensive stats. While not the foremost player at his position, Adams provides solid top-15 value, and is averaging 13.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 assists while shooting 57.6 percent from the floor on the season.

  • Thunder's Terrance Ferguson: Scores a season-high 14

Ferguson scored 14 points (5-10 FG, 4-9 3Pt) and added four rebounds, a steal and a block in 29 minutes Thursday against the Rockets.

Ferguson also managed to play a season-high 29 minutes on Thursday, providing some much needed complementary scoring. The Thunder have historically struggled finding an adequate wing to help provide space for Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams to operate, a role Ferguson has an opportunity to cultivate a larger role if he can continue to shoot the ball well. A larger role could lead to fantasy value but for now Ferguson is little more than a prospective add in deeper formats as he is only averaging 3.4 points and 1.3 rebounds on the season.

  • Thunder's Paul George: Strong contributions in win

George recorded 20 points (7-21 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists and six steals across 35 minutes in Thursday's win over the Rockets.

George led the way for the Thunder, who were missing Russell Westbrook (ankle), with one of his best all-around performances of the year. The veteran wing has struggled shooting the ball so far this year, hitting just 39.4 percent of his shots from the field but has continued his excellent production elsewhere. George's poor shooting may be the product of increased defensive attention with Westbrook out, and should improve as the season wears on. George is a excellent fantasy option and will only get better as he gets on track shooting the ball.
