  • Magic's Wesley Iwundu: Fails to score in start Saturday

Iwundu had just two blocks and one assist in 20 minutes during Saturday's 130-117 victory over the Lakers.

Iwundu continues to start for the Magic but was basically invisible in this one. Despite the starting role, Iwundu has virtually no fantasy value and could shift back to the bench once Jonathan Isaac is back to full health.

  • Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Blocks five shots Saturday

Isaac totaled seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds, five blocks, and one assist in 16 minutes during Saturday's 130-117 victory over the Lakers.

Isaac played 16 minutes off the bench Saturday as he continues to work his way back from an ankle injury. Despite the minutes' restriction, Isaac still managed to record five blocked shots. Playing time is the key for Isaac and that will only come if he is able to stay healthy, which thus far has been a major issue. He is a borderline standard league option but is more of a stash at this stage.

  • Magic's D.J. Augustin: Drops season-high 22 points in win

Augustin had 22 points (7-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven assists, and one rebound in 27 minutes during Saturday's 130-117 victory over the Lakers.

Augustin was lights out Saturday, barely missing on his way to a season-best 22 points. He continues to be up and down from night to night but has managed to maintain some consistency with his assist numbers. The shooting here is likely unsustainable, meaning this type of scoring outburst is somewhat of an outlier. That being said, he is certainly worthy of a roster spot in deeper formats.

  • Magic's Nikola Vucevic: Has season-high 36 points Saturday

Vucevic finished with 36 points (15-23 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 13 rebounds, and two steals in 31 minutes during Saturday's 130-117 victory over the Lakers.

Vucevic poured in a season-high 36 points during Saturday's victory, adding 13 rebounds to record his ninth double-double of the season. His amazing start to the season continues as he works on the best season of his career so far. This was the first game in which he has failed to record an assist and the third consecutive game without a block. Outside of that, he is performing at an all-star level currently and is a major factor in the Magic sitting at 8-and-8 on the season.

  • Magic's Aaron Gordon: Will play Saturday

Gordon (ankle) will play Saturday against the Lakers, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.

Gordon was a game-time decision due to a sprained left ankle, but he's feeling good enough to play after testing things out in warmups. Over the past six games, he's averaging 19.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.0 steals.

  • Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Will remain on minutes restriction

Isaac will have a minutes restriction Saturday against the Lakers, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.

Isaac made his return to action Wednesday against Philadelphia and played 16 minutes off the bench after missing the previous six games. He'll remain limited Saturday, and while it's unclear how many minutes he'll be cleared for, Isaac is best avoided in DFS contests until that restriction is lifted.

  • Magic's Aaron Gordon: Questionable with sprained ankle

Gordon is listed as questionable Saturday against the Lakers due to a sprained left ankle, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Gordon may have picked up the injury during the Magic's win over Philadelphia on Wednesday, in which he had 17 points, six rebounds and six assists in 32 minutes. Regardless, the Magic will wait to see how he feels closer to game-time before making a call on his status.

  • Magic's Melvin Frazier: Assigned to G League

Frazier was assigned to the Lakeland Magic of the G League on Friday.

Frazier was recalled from the G League on Monday, but he will now have the opportunity to see some extended playing time in Lakeland's game against the Swarm on Friday night.

  • Magic's Isaiah Briscoe: Assigned to G League

Briscoe has been assigned to the G League.

Briscoe was called up from the G League on Nov. 11 but didn't see any action with the Magic this week. The Kentucky product will be available to play with Lakeland starting Friday.

  • Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Plays 16 minutes off bench

Isaac played 16 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's win over the Sixers.

Making his return from a six-game absence due to an ankle injury, Isaac was restricted to 16 minutes of action, but his workload figures to increase over the next few games. Isaac finished with four points (1-3 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one block.

  • Magic's Nikola Vucevic: Pours in game-high 30 in win over Sixers

Vucevic scored 30 points (10-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT) while adding eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in 39 minutes during Wednesday's 111-106 win over the 76ers.

On a night when all eyes were on Jimmy Butler making his Philly debut, it was Vucevic who shone the brightest, as he set a season high in points while holding Joel Embiid to just 6-for-20 shooting from the floor. Vucevic is on pace for a career year so far, contributing strong numbers across the board including personal bests in assists (3.5 per game) and field-goal shooting (53.8 percent).

  • Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Restriction in place Wednesday

Though Isaac (ankle) will be available to play Wednesday against the 76ers, coach Steve Clifford said a minutes restriction will be in place for the forward, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports. Isaac is likely to work in a reserve role in his return from a six-game absence, per Denton.

Clifford didn't offer a specific number for Isaac's projected minutes, but it makes sense for the Magic to ease the 21-year-old back in the fold after he missed about two weeks with the sprained right ankle and was nagged by lower-body issues throughout his rookie campaign. Wesley Iwundu had been filling in as the starting small forward while Isaac was sidelined, but it was Terrence Ross who mainly took advantage of the rangy forward's absence, averaging 17.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 three-pointers and 2.2 assists in 27.7 minutes per contest off the bench during the six-game stretch. Both Ross and Iwundu should see their values take a hit once Isaac is free of restrictions, which could come as soon as the Magic's subsequent game Saturday against the Lakers.

  • Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Making return Wednesday

Isaac (ankle) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the 76ers, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.

Listed as questionable heading into the day after missing the Magic's past six games with a sprained right ankle, Isaac will be available to suit up after making it through the morning shootaround without incident. It's not known if Isaac will have any restrictions with his minutes or immediately recapture his starting role at forward, so the 21-year-old doesn't make for the most appealing option in DFS contests coming off the injury. Assuming he makes it through Wednesday's contest without any setbacks during his time on the court, Isaac should settle back into a nightly 25-to-30-minute role.

  • Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Listed as questionable for Wednesday

Isaac (ankle) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.

Isaac has missed the last six games with a sprained right ankle, but he's been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's contest after completing an on-court workout -- which included testing his ankle with jumping and cutting -- with no issues Monday. Look for his status to clear up closer to tip-off.
