  • 76ers' Jimmy Butler: Questionable for Wednesday

Butler (wrist) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, freelance NBA reporter Jessica Camerato reports.

Butler missed Monday's game against the Rockets due to a wrist injury, but he was able to practice Tuesday and could return after missing just one contest. Look for his status to clear up closer to tipoff. If Butler is unable to play again, Corey Brewer and Furkan Korkmaz could see increased run.

  • 76ers' Ben Simmons: Questionable with illness

Simmons is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Spurs due to an illness, freelance NBA reporter Jessica Camerato reports.

Simmons is dealing with an upper respiratory infection that held him out of Tuesday's practice. He'll have an entire day to rest up and recover, but if he is unable to play Wednesday, T.J. McConnell would likely fill in as the team's starting point guard.

  • 76ers' Mike Muscala: Plays 24 minutes in Monday's win

Muscala managed two points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist, and one block in 24 minutes during Monday's 121-93 win over the Rockets.

Muscala was quiet despite earning the most minutes among the six 76ers reserves who saw the court. His ability to stretch the defense while providing some interior help defensively has helped him become Joel Embiid's primary backup big man, and Muscala even shares the floor with the star center here and there. Muscala isn't filling up the stat sheet most nights, but he is maintaining a career high minutes average, so if his shots start falling more often, his value in deep leagues could eventually receive a boost.

  • 76ers' Wilson Chandler: Grabs 14 rebounds in Monday's win

Chandler chipped in nine points (4-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt), 14 rebounds, and three assists in 27 minutes during Monday's 121-93 win over the Rockets.

Chandler finished with a season high rebounding total while sinking every one of his field-goal attempts. He hasn't been able to make an impact on a consistent basis this season, especially offensively. Nevertheless, barring a big roster shakeup, Chandler seems locked into a starting role thanks to his status as one of the team's most versatile defenders.

  • 76ers' Corey Brewer: Fills stat sheet in Monday's win

Brewer contributed 11 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and one assist in 33 minutes during Monday's 121-93 win over the Rockets.

Brewer started in place of Jimmy Butler (wrist) and played well, hounding James Harden defensively for most of the contest. Butler's injury isn't expected to keep him sidelined long. With that being said, if Butler remains out for Wednesday's matchup with the Spurs, Brewer could be in line to draw another start, as the 76ers will be looking to keep DeMar DeRozan in check.

  • 76ers' Joel Embiid: Dominant in Monday's win

Embiid recorded 32 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 14-17 FT), 14 rebounds, three blocks, two assists, and two steals in 27 minutes during Monday's 121-93 win over the Rockets.

Embiid had been listed as a game-time decision due to back tightness but ultimately gave it a go and dominated despite playing fairly limited minutes. Embiid destroyed Nene Hilario, Kenneth Faried, and P.J. Tucker, and was subbed out early in the fourth quarter because the game was such a blowout. Embiid's back issues are worth keeping an eye on, but he has appeared in 45 of 48 contests this season and seems determined to prove he's capable of performing through pain as long as it's manageable.

  • 76ers' Joel Embiid: Available to play Monday

Embiid (back) has been cleared to play Monday against Houston, Derek Bodner of The Athletic reports.

Embiid went through a workout during pregame to determine whether he'd be ready to go, and it appears his back feels good enough to give it a shot. He figures to rejoin the starting lineup and take on his usual workload, as he didn't miss any time due to this latest injury.

  • 76ers' Corey Brewer: Set to start Monday

Brewer will start Monday's game against the Rockets, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The veteran signed a 10-day contract with the Sixers less than a week ago, but with Jimmy Butler out Monday, he'll be thrust into the starting lineup at small forward. Brewer saw eight minutes of action against Minnesota on Jan. 15, but he's been a DNP-CD in each of the last two games.

  • 76ers' Joel Embiid: Will be game-time call

Embiid (back) will be a game-time call for Monday's matchup with the Rockets, Sixers reporter Jessica Camerato reports.

As was the case Saturday against the Thunder, Embiid will go through a pregame workout before his status is determined. The big man has missed just one game since the start of January, but he continues to be bothered by soreness in his back, Given that he's played 35 and 34 minutes, respectively, over the last two games, if Embiid is cleared to play, he likely won't face a strict minutes limitation.

  • 76ers' Jimmy Butler: Ruled out Monday

Butler (wrist) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Rockets, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Butler picked up a right wrist injury over the weekend and will miss at least one game as a result. Fortunately, the issue doesn't appear to be anything overly serious, as Butler is being considered day-to-day. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Spurs. In the meantime, Furkan Korkmaz is a candidate to start at small forward in place of Butler on Monday.

  • 76ers' Shake Milton: Scores team-high 26 points

Milton totaled 26 points (9-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-12 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists, a steal and a block across 35 minutes Saturday against Westchester.

Milton notched a double-double and was solid from the field, but the Blue Coats would fall 105-96 after a strong third quarter. Although Milton did finish the day with the team-lead in points scored, he also committed seven costly turnovers.

  • 76ers' Joel Embiid: Questionable vs. Rockets

Embiid is questionable to play in Monday's game against the Rockets due to back tightness, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Embiid has been dealing with some lingering back tightness the last few days but is yet to miss any time. His spot on the injury report is likely still precautionary, as Embiid is coming off an impressive performance in Saturday's loss to the Thunder where he posted 31 points, eight rebounds and six assists in 34 minutes. He will likely end up being a game-time call Monday.

  • 76ers' Jimmy Butler: Questionable with wrist issue

Butler will be a game-time decision for Monday's contest due to right wrist soreness.

It's unknown as to when Butler picked up his latest injury, but it may be significant enough to keep him off the court Monday. If Butler is ultimately ruled out, Furkan Korkmaz figures to draw the start at small forward.
