  • 76ers' Wilson Chandler: Coming off bench Saturday

Chandler will come off the bench Saturday against the Hornets, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Mike Muscala will start in place of Chandler, who is limited to about 12 minutes. As a result, he's an incredibly risky play in DFS.

  • 76ers' Mike Muscala: Starting Saturday

Muscala will start for Wilson Chandler during Saturday's game against the Hornets, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

With Chandler's minutes limited to about 12, coach Brett Brown will opt to bring him off the bench. Over the past three games, Muscala has averaged 9.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists.

  • 76ers' Wilson Chandler: Minutes limit decreased Saturday

Chandler is expected to only play about 12 minutes during Saturday's second half of back-to-back set against Charlotte, Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

A starting lineup change may be in effect as well. Chandler has been limited to about 20 minutes recently, but the team is still choosing to be extra cautious on the second half of a back-to-back.

  • 76ers' Amir Johnson: Scores 11 points in Friday's win

Johnson totaled 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, and three assists in 14 minutes during Friday's 113-107 win over the Jazz.

Johnson hit double figures in scoring for the first time since the second contest of the season (back on Oct. 18). He had combined to play eight minutes over the last two tilts, and has earned single-digit minutes in five of nine November matchups. With that being said, Joel Embiid got into foul trouble in this one, presenting Johnson with the opportunity to make things happen. Still, Johnson is only worth a look in the very deepest leagues.

  • 76ers' Ben Simmons: Posts 10-8-8 line in Friday's win

Simmons supplied 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and one block in 36 minutes during Friday's 113-107 win over the Jazz.

Simmons delivered his usual well-rounded line, including a key bucket late that helped put the team over the top. Fantasy owners should still expect an adjustment period in the aftermath of the Jimmy Butler acquisition. However, Simmons has never been a big-time scorer, and Butler provides Simmons with another exceptional offensive option to help him rack up assists.

  • 76ers' Mike Muscala: Plays 32 minutes in Friday's win

Muscala had nine points (3-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), four rebounds, one steal, and one block in 32 minutes during Friday's 113-107 win over the Jazz.

Muscala saw the fourth-most minutes on the team and a season high minute total, albeit on a night when Joel Embiid struggled with foul trouble. Coach Brett Brown continues to regularly rely on lineups with two traditional big men, which bodes well for backups like Muscala and Amir Johnson. With that being said, Muscala remains a modest source of scoring, boards, and threes, and anything else he contributes should be viewed as a bonus.

  • 76ers' Markelle Fultz: Plays 14 minutes in Friday's win

Fultz finished with six points (2-5 FG, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, and two assists in 14 minutes during Friday's 113-107 win over the Jazz.

Fultz saw a season low minute total, and this was just the second time through 17 appearances that he has earned less than 20 minutes. Not only did the acquisition of Jimmy Butler push Fultz into a reserve role, it also appears to be reducing his on-court opportunities, as he has averaged 17.5 minutes per game through Butler's first two tilts with the team. Fultz could still figure out how to make an impact despite seeing limited action, but the odds that he'll maintain value in standard leagues are stacked against him.

  • 76ers' Jimmy Butler: Scores 28 points in Friday's win

Butler contributed 28 points (12-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT), seven assists, three rebounds, and two steals in 38 minutes during Friday's 113-107 win over the Jazz.

Butler was extremely efficient, finishing with nearly twice as many points as field-goal attempts while providing his usual impact on defense as well. Butler had been resting regularly while still with the Timberwolves, including on the front or back end of back-to-backs. However, it's unclear whether that will continue now that he's with the 76ers. Fantasy owners would be wise to check on Butler's status heading into Saturday's matchup with the Hornets.

  • 76ers' Wilson Chandler: Grabs five boards in Friday's win

Chandler managed two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and five rebounds in 22 minutes during Friday's 113-107 win over the Jazz.

Chandler exceeded his 20-minute limit, but just barely. He continues to start at power forward in the aftermath of acquiring Jimmy Butler. However, given how many mouths there are to feed, Chandler will likely remain most useful in deep leagues even once the restriction is removed.

  • 76ers' Joel Embiid: Nursing swollen hand

Embiid intends to play in Saturday's game against the Hornets even though he is dealing with a swollen hand, Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Embiid revealed the injury following Friday's victory over the Jazz. He compiled 23 points (7/20 FG, 1/4 3PT, 8/9 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, three blocks, and two steals across 26 minutes in the contest. The hand issue reportedly goes back to a game against the Suns last season. Although he expects to play Saturday, the issue could be something to keep an eye on going forward.

  • 76ers' Wilson Chandler: Still on minutes restriction

Chandler will remain limited to 20 minutes in Friday's game against the Jazz, Tom Moore of the Bucks County Courier Times reports.

Chandler's minutes limit has steadily increased since his return from a hamstring injury, but it will remain at 20 minutes for the second straight game. With that, Chandler can be safely avoided in DFS contests for as long as he remains limited, and Mike Muscala should continue seeing extended frontcourt minutes off the bench during that time.

  • 76ers' Jonah Bolden: Assigned to G-League

Bolden was assigned to the G-League on Thursday.

Bolden has seen spot run with Philly this season, totaling 40 minutes across six games. In that time, he's racked up 10 points, nine rebounds, three steals, two assists and a block. In an effort to get him more in-game experience, the organization has opted to send him to the G-League.

  • 76ers' Jimmy Butler: Scores 14 in Sixers debut

Butler scored 14 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding four rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 111-106 loss to the Magic.

It wasn't a successful Sixers debut for the 29-year-old, either from a team or a personal perspective, but he'll have plenty of time to learn how to work effectively with his two extremely talented new teammates in Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Butler still averaged 22.2 points per game last season in similar circumstances in Minnesota, and there's no reason to think he'll suddenly struggle in Philly.

  • 76ers' Joel Embiid: Triple-double in loss to Magic

Embiid scored 19 points (6-20 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding 13 rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 111-106 loss to the Magic.

Playing alongside the newly acquired Jimmy Butler for the first time, Embiid didn't have his most efficient offensive performance but still recorded the first triple-double of his career. He's already averaging a career-high 3.9 assists per game so far this season, but with Butler now in the fold to draw defensive attention, and J.J. Redick apparently remaining in the starting five to help spread the floor for the Sixers, Embiid's distribution numbers could continue to rise.

  • 76ers' J.J. Redick: Scores team-high 22 in loss to Magic

Redick scored 22 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding six assists and four rebounds in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 111-106 loss to the Magic.

Somewhat surprisingly, Jimmy Butler's addition to the Sixers' lineup didn't push Redick back to the bench, and the veteran guard rewarded coach Brett Brown with his third straight 20-plus point performance. The 34-year-old doesn't offer much fantasy value outside of his shooting, but with opposition defenses now having to worry about Butler as well as Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, Redick --who's already averaging 2.9 three-pointers on 8.4 attempts per game, both career highs -- should continue to see plenty of wide-open looks.
