  • 76ers' Jonah Bolden: Assigned to G-League

Bolden was assigned to the G-League on Thursday.

Bolden has seen spot run with Philly this season, totaling 40 minutes across six games. In that time, he's racked up 10 points, nine rebounds, three steals, two assists and a block. In an effort to get him more in-game experience, the organization has opted to send him to the G-League.

  • 76ers' Jimmy Butler: Scores 14 in Sixers debut

Butler scored 14 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding four rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 111-106 loss to the Magic.

It wasn't a successful Sixers debut for the 29-year-old, either from a team or a personal perspective, but he'll have plenty of time to learn how to work effectively with his two extremely talented new teammates in Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Butler still averaged 22.2 points per game last season in similar circumstances in Minnesota, and there's no reason to think he'll suddenly struggle in Philly.

  • 76ers' Joel Embiid: Triple-double in loss to Magic

Embiid scored 19 points (6-20 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding 13 rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 111-106 loss to the Magic.

Playing alongside the newly acquired Jimmy Butler for the first time, Embiid didn't have his most efficient offensive performance but still recorded the first triple-double of his career. He's already averaging a career-high 3.9 assists per game so far this season, but with Butler now in the fold to draw defensive attention, and J.J. Redick apparently remaining in the starting five to help spread the floor for the Sixers, Embiid's distribution numbers could continue to rise.

  • 76ers' J.J. Redick: Scores team-high 22 in loss to Magic

Redick scored 22 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding six assists and four rebounds in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 111-106 loss to the Magic.

Somewhat surprisingly, Jimmy Butler's addition to the Sixers' lineup didn't push Redick back to the bench, and the veteran guard rewarded coach Brett Brown with his third straight 20-plus point performance. The 34-year-old doesn't offer much fantasy value outside of his shooting, but with opposition defenses now having to worry about Butler as well as Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, Redick --who's already averaging 2.9 three-pointers on 8.4 attempts per game, both career highs -- should continue to see plenty of wide-open looks.

  • 76ers' J.J. Redick: Will remain in starting five

Redick will keep his spot in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Magic, Tim Bontemps of ESPN reports.

The Sixers will have the newly acquired Jimmy Butler available for the first time, and coach Brett Brown elected to go with Joel Embiid, Wilson Chandler and Butler up front, with Redick and Ben Simmons in the backcourt. Redick was a starter last season, but he was moved to the bench to begin the 2018-19 season, as the Sixers attempted to get Markelle Fultz back in rhythm. Redick has started the last two games after Robert Covington and Dario Saric were dealt to Minnesota, however, and with the Sixers in need of more floor spacing on the top unit, Redick will stick at shooting guard over Fultz, giving the team one of the more complete starting lineups in the league.

  • 76ers' Jimmy Butler: Will play, start Wednesday

Butler will make his 76ers debut and start at small forward during Wednesday's game against the Magic, Tim Bontemps of The Washington Post reports.

Butler will take over Robert Covington's spot in the lineup. Coach Brett Brown is also opting to start Wilson Chandler at power forward, plus bench Markelle Fultz in favor of J.J. Redick. It's possible Butler sees a reduced workload on his new team, but he should still see 30-plus minutes on a nightly basis.

  • 76ers' Wilson Chandler: Gains starting job

Chandler has claimed the starting power forward job, Tim Bontemps of The Washington Post reports.

The Sixers sent away starting forwards Robert Covington and Dario Saric to acquire Jimmy Butler. Butler will slide into Covington's spot while Chandler takes over Saric's spot. Chandler's minutes have been limited so far this season due to recovery from a hamstring injury, but he should see around 30 minutes per night once he's medically cleared.

  • 76ers' Markelle Fultz: Will come off bench

Fultz, due to the addition of Jimmy Butler, will come off the bench for the foreseeable future, Tim Bontemps of The Washington Post reports.

Fultz has started all 15 games this season in an attempt by coach Brett Brown to get him comfortable within the offense after missing 68 games during his rookie year. The addition of Butler changes the Sixers' on-court dynamics, so coach Brown will opt to bring Fultz off the bench as a ballhandler, rather than try to mesh him, Butler and Ben Simmons into the starting lineup. Despite losing his starting role, Fultz could still continue to see 24.3 minutes per game. In that time, he's averaged 9.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals on 41.2 percent shooting.

  • 76ers' J.J. Redick: Drops 25 in likely final start

Redick scored 25 points (11-20 FG, 3-9 3Pt) while adding three assists and a rebound in 31 minutes during Monday's 124-114 win over the Heat.

The veteran sharpshooter has taken advantage of his brief starting window while the Sixers wait for Jimmy Butler to officially join the roster, scoring 20-plus points in back-to-back games while going 6-for-15 from three-point range. Redick should maintain a key role off the bench once Butler arrives, but it's unlikely he'll continue to average the 31.1 minutes, 17.9 points or 8.4 three-point attempts per game -- all career highs -- he's been seeing to date.

  • 76ers' Joel Embiid: Dominates Heat in win

Embiid scored 35 points (8-15 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 16-20 FT) while adding 18 rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes during Monday's 124-114 win over the Heat.

The points and boards were both game highs for either team, as Embiid dropped 30-plus points for the ninth time while supplying his eighth straight double-double and 14th overall in 15 games. It will be interesting to see how the addition of Jimmy Butler to the Sixers' lineup affects Embiid's usage, but given the dominant numbers he's posted so far, it's hard to imagine his shot attempts -- particularly the career-high 11.1 free-throw attempts per game he's averaging -- will decrease too much.
