  • Raptors' C.J. Miles: Still looking shaky for Wednesday

Miles' (hip) status for Wednesday's game against the Celtics remains up in the air, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

The Raptors list Miles as questionable for the contest, but based on the comments coach Nick Nurse made in his media session Wednesday, Mike Ganter of the Toronto Sun relays that the swingman is probably closer to doubtful. With Toronto returning another key reserve guard in Fred VanVleet (thigh) after a one-game absence, Miles might not be included in the rotation even if he ends up being available.

  • Raptors' Fred VanVleet: Good to go Wednesday

Coach Nick Nurse said VanVleet (thigh) would be available for Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

VanVleet sat out Sunday's double-overtime win over the Wizards with the thigh issue and had been listed as questionable Tuesday when the Raptors released their initial injury report. It sounds as though he felt fine during the Raptors' morning shootaround, so VanVleet shouldn't face any restrictions in his return to action. Over six January appearances, VanVleet has averaged 12.0 points, 5.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 three-pointers in 30.3 minutes per game, but all of those figures will likely begin trending downward now that starting point guard Kyle Lowry is healthy again.

  • Raptors' Kawhi Leonard: OK for first end of back-to-back

Leonard will be available for Wednesday's game against the Celtics and said he's open to playing the second half of the Raptors' back-to-back set Thursday versus the Suns, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.

While Leonard never showed up on the Raptors' injury report ahead of Wednesday's contest, he did experience some left leg tightness in Sunday's double-overtime win over the Wizards, per Eric Smith of Sportsnet 590 The Fan. The injury didn't stop Leonard from putting up a huge line (41 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks) or playing big minutes (45), with the forward telling Grange on Wednesday that he felt comfortable taking on the hefty workload. It's thus not expected that he'll face any restrictions in Boston, though coach Nick Nurse said the Raptors would wait and see how Leonard feels Thursday before deciding on his status for the second game of the back-to-back. Leonard has yet to play games on consecutive days at any point this season.

  • Raptors' C.J. Miles: Questionable for Wednesday

Miles (hip) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

Miles missed Sunday's game against the Wizards due to a hip injury, but it sounds like he could return for Wednesday's contest. Look for his status to clear up closer to game-time. Even if Miles is cleared to play, he doesn't figure to factor heavily immediately into Toronto's rotation.

  • Raptors' OG Anunoby: Won't play Wednesday

Anunoby will not play in Wednesday's game against the Celtics due to personal reasons, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

The specifics of Anunoby's absence aren't known at this time, but the second-year swingman is currently away from the team. With Anunoby out, the Raptors will likely lean on Norman Powell for additional minutes on the wing Wednesday.

  • Raptors' Fred VanVleet: Questionable vs. Celtics

VanVleet (thigh) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

VanVleet was held out of Sunday's game against the Wizards after suffering a bruised thigh Friday, and his status remains up in the air. If VanVleet is unable to give it a go Wednesday, Delon Wright would operate as the backup point guard again for Toronto.

  • Raptors' Danny Green: Nice line in double-OT win

Green delivered 16 points (5-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks across 42 minutes Sunday in the Raptors' 140-138 double-overtime win over the Wizards.

The high minutes total inflated Green's numbers, but the starting shooting guard nonetheless continued his improved form of late. Over his past four outings, Green is averaging 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 three-pointers, 1.8 steals, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 assists in 31.5 minutes per contest. It's hard to bank on him keeping it up much longer, however, as the defensive statistics amount to major outliers from his career marks, while his 53.1 percent and 54.5 percent marks from the field and three-point range aren't sustainable either.

  • Raptors' Delon Wright: Thrives again off bench

Wright finished with 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 22 minutes Sunday in the Raptors' 140-138 double-overtime victory over the Wizards.

With Fred VanVleet (thigh) sitting out, Wright enjoyed an enhanced role on the second unit and reached double digits in the scoring column for the fourth time in six games. Though he's attracted some attention in deeper settings with his recent production, Wright probably won't warrant much appeal in shallower leagues unless VanVleet's injury proves to be a longer-term concern.

  • Raptors' Kyle Lowry: Grabs 13th double-double

Lowry scored 12 points (4-15 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT) while adding 11 assists, five rebounds and two steals in 50 minutes during Sunday's 140-138 double-overtime win over the Wizards.

Despite his poor shooting, Lowry still delivered his 13th double-double of the season, and first since returning from a back injury. The 32-year-old is close to averaging a double-double for the first time in his career, but he'll need to stay healthy in the second half to pull it off.

  • Raptors' Pascal Siakam: Huge double-double in OT win

Siakam scored 24 points (9-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT) while adding 19 rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks in 44 minutes during Sunday's 140-138 double-overtime win over the Wizards.

He dominated the glass all afternoon until fouling out on a very questionable call in the second OT period. Siakam now has nine double-doubles on the season, with five of them coming in the last eight games -- a stretch during which he's averaging 19.1 points, 9.6 board and, 3.3 assists.

  • Raptors' Kawhi Leonard: Leads way in OT win

Leonard scored a team-high 41 points (15-29 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT) while adding 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks in 45 minutes during Sunday's 140-138 double-overtime win over the Wizards.

The Raptors are off until Wednesday, and Leonard and the rest of the starters will need the rest after this one. He's scored at least 20 points in 19 straight games, a streak dating back to late November, and the 27-year-old continues to put together a career-best season in his first campaign with Toronto.

  • Raptors' Fred VanVleet: Out Sunday vs. Wizards

VanVleet (thigh) won't play in Sunday's game against the Wizards, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

VanVleet bruised his thigh in Friday's game against the Nets, leading to his absence Sunday. In his absence look for Delon Wright and Jordan Loyd to see some extra time. VanVleet's next chance to play will be Wednesday against the Celtics.

  • Raptors' C.J. Miles: Ruled out

Miles (hip) will not play Sunday against the Wizards, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.

Miles was considered doubtful coming into the day, so this doesn't come as much of a surprise. The veteran wing played seven minutes in Friday's game against Brooklyn after being a DNP-CD in three straight contests.

  • Raptors' C.J. Miles: Doubtful Sunday

Miles (hip) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Wizards, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

Miles played just seven minutes Friday coming off a hip injury, and it appears he aggravated things. Assuming he's out Sunday, Norman Powell should see extra run.

  • Raptors' Fred VanVleet: Questionable Sunday

VanVleet (thigh) is questionable for Sunday's tilt with the Wizards, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.

VanVleet appears to have suffered a bruised thigh during Friday's game against Brooklyn. If he can't go, look for Delon Wright and Jordan Loyd to get a boost in minutes.
