Hornets' Nicolas Batum: Upgraded to probable Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Batum (elbow) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.

Batum was originally listed as doubtful heading into the contest, but is seemingly feeling less pain than anticipated after morning shootaround. He did play just 19 minutes in his last appearance, however, after experiencing pain mid-game. So, the situation overall still makes him a risky DFS option, even if he's cleared to take the floor. Jeremy Lamb would likely see a dip in workload if Batum plays.

Hornets' Nicolas Batum: Doubtful Wednesday vs. Rockets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Batum (elbow) is doubtful for Wednesday's matchup against the Rockets, Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Batum began experiencing soreness in his left elbow over the weekend, which ultimately caused him to miss Monday's game after playing just 19 minutes Saturday. He'll seemingly be re-evaluated come Wednesday morning shootaround, though it's unlikely he'll be cleared. Assuming he's sidelined, Jeremy Lamb would probably be the main beneficiary.

Hornets' Frank Kaminsky: Plays 17 minutes in return
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Kaminsky finished with just eight points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), but added five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 17 minutes during Monday's 116-103 victory over Oklahoma City.

Kaminsky returned to action and saw just 17 minutes of court time. While he didn't contribute a lot in the scoring column, he was able to chip in elsewhere. He should be seeing additional court time with Cody Zeller (knee) on the sidelines, and is worth an add if you are in need of a big man who can hit the three ball.

Hornets' Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: Excellent in victory
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Kidd-Gilchrist totaled 17 points (8-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block in 34 minutes during Monday's 116-103 victory over the Thunder.

Kidd-Gilchrist came to play Monday, chipping in across the board. He finished with season-high totals in both assists and steals, while adding a very efficient 17 points. He has been better of late, displaying some of the upside that we know he has. While he won't deliver big scoring numbers like this every night, he is worth an add in most leagues as a player who can contribute across the board.

Hornets' Dwight Howard: Scores 23 points in victory
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Howard finished with 23 points (9-13 FG, 5-7 FT), seven rebounds, two blocks and one assist across 30 minutes in Monday's 116-103 victory over the Thunder.

Howard has been a beast of late and continued his strong play in a surprisingly easy victory over the struggling Thunder. Over his last three outings, he has averaged 23.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks. These are numbers owners were used to in his glory days playing for Orlando, and he will look to keep things rolling when his team travels to Houston to face James Harden and the Rockets.
