Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Will play limited minutes Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Updating a previous report, Thompson will play in Sunday's game against the Wizards, but will be limited to around 15 minutes, Dave McMenamin of ESPN reports.

The Cavaliers were originally expected to hold Thompson out for rest, but will instead give him the green light to take the floor off the bench. That said, he'll see 15 minutes at most Sunday, so it'll be wise for fantasy owners to avoid using Thompson for the time being.

Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Out for rest Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Thompson has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Wizards for rest purposes, Allie Clifton of Fox Sports Ohio reports.

Thompson has played in just two of the last three games, seeing limited minutes in both contests as he continues to work his way back into game shape after missing more than a month with a calf injury. Coach Ty Lue will once again be as cautious as possible with his big man and will hold him out Sunday for additional rest. Thompson will likely be back as soon as Tuesday's tilt with the Bucks, though there's a good chance he remains limited in that game, which severely restricts his fantasy impact.

Cavaliers' Dwyane Wade: Out Sunday vs, Wizards
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Wade will sit out Sunday's game against the Wizards for rest, Allie Clifton of Fox Sports Ohio reports.

Wade has played the last two contests following a one-game layoff because of a sore left knee, seeing 20 and 23 minutes, respectively, during that stretch. However, coach Ty Lue wants to limit the strain on his knee, so he'll give Wade the night off Sunday as a precautionary measure. That said, Wade will likely be back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday's game against the Bucks. With Wade sidelined, look for Kyle Korver and Jeff Green to pick up additional minutes on the wing.

Cavaliers' LeBron James: Triple-doubles in victory
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

James finished with 29 points (9-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 10-10 FT), 11 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Saturday's 109-100 victory over Utah.

James was the dominant player once again Saturday, recording his second consecutive triple-double, and his third in the last four games. Cleveland was favored against an understrength Jazz team, however, with little support from his teammates, James was called upon to do most of the heavy lifting in a tough encounter. After four straight home games, Cleveland will travel to Washington to face the Wizards on Sunday.

Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Unlikely to play Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Thompson, who is expected to see limited minutes in Saturday's game against the Jazz, is unlikely to play Sunday against the Wizards, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.

Thompson continues to work his back way back from a calf injury, though he likely isn't ready to play in back-to-back games at this point, leaving him doubtful for Sunday's contest.
