Grizzlies' Tyreke Evans: Out with sore hip Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Evans is dealing with right hip soreness and has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Evans reportedly experienced the discomfort during pregame warmups and the Grizzlies don't want to risk putting any additional strain on it, so he'll get the night off Wednesday. The fact that it's just soreness should mean it's nothing overly serious, though tentatively consider Evans questionable for Friday's matchup with the Hawks as well. With Evans sidelined, Mario Chalmers and Andrew Harrison should get the bulk of the work at point guard, with Dillon Brooks and Ben McLemore potentially seeing a few extra minutes in the backcourt as well.

Grizzlies' Wayne Selden: Ruled out Wednesday vs. Wizards
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Selden (quadriceps) won't play Wednesday against the Wizards,

Selden has been sidelined since mid-November with the sore right quad. The Grizzlies haven't provided much in the way of an update on Selden's recovery from the injury, so the expectation is that he'll miss additional time beyond Wednesday. With only two appearances on the campaign, Selden likely won't be included in the Grizzlies' rotation once he's healthy.

Grizzlies' Brandan Wright: Out again Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Wright (groin) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

This will be the seventh straight game Wright has missed with a lingering groin issue, but he will remain day-to-day until the Grizzlies report an update on his recovery timetable. In his absence, Deyonta Davis and Jarell Martin have the potential to see additional minutes off the bench.

Grizzlies' Marc Gasol: Struggles to find his shot
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Gasol finished with 19 points (5-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-10 FT), six rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes during Monday's 107-82 loss to the Heat.

Gasol led his team in scoring but was underwhelming in the heavy defeat. He has been decent for owners so far this season, but has been trending down over the last few weeks. He is still scoring the ball, but his rebounds and blocks have fallen away. This could have something to do with Mike Conley (Achilles) being out of the lineup for an extended period, and also the return of JaMychal Green. He will look to bounce back Wednesday, when his team visits Washington.

Grizzlies' Andrew Harrison: Scores 16 points in start
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Harrison collected 16 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four assists, two steals and one rebound in 30 minutes during Monday's 107-82 loss to Miami.

Harrison started at point guard, finishing with a season-high 16 points on only six shots. He has clearly usurped Mario Chalmers as the fill-in point guard, having played at least 26 minutes per game in each of his last four starts. The scoring was something that we will not see often, but he has averaged 1.8 steals over his last four outings. He should continue to see solid minutes until Mike Conley (Achilles) returns, but is still not worth owning in most leagues.
