Heat's Tyler Johnson: Doubtful to play Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson (migraine) is officially being listed as doubtful to play during Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

It was reported earlier that Johnson was not in the arena, so this status isn't too surprising. Assuming he's out, Dion Waiters, Josh Richardson and Wayne Ellington could all see extended run.

Heat's Tyler Johnson: Questionable Wednesday with migraine
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers due to a migraine, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.

At the time of the report, Johnson was not in the arena. More word on his status should emerge closer to tipoff. If he's ultimately held out, Josh Richardson, Dion Waters and Wayne Ellington are all candidates to see extended run.

Heat's Hassan Whiteside: Out again Wednesday vs. Trail Blazers
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Whiteside (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Whiteside will officially be missing his seventh straight game, as he's yet to be cleared from a bone bruise in his left knee. He was originally given a 1-to-2 week timetable for a return and Thursday represents the two-week mark, so there's a chance he's then cleared ahead of Friday's matchup with the Hornets. That said, Whiteside should be considered questionable for that contest and he'd likely need to take part in at least portions of Thursday's practice in order to be given the go ahead to return. Look for Kelly Olynk and Bam Adebayo to continue to get the bulk of the center workload in his place.

Heat's James Johnson: Chips in across the board
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson recorded 11 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 31 minutes during Monday's 107-82 victory over the Grizzlies.

That's two nice games in a row for Johnson, who was coming of a lean spell. He has played 31 minutes in each of the last two contests, and is benefiting from Hassan Whiteside's absence. These are the types of lines we became accustomed to last season, and he will look to continue his nice run against Portland on Wednesday.

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Fills box score in victory
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Adebayo finished with 14 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 22 minutes during Monday's 107-82 victory over Memphis.

Adebayo came off the bench once again, but outplayed Kelly Olynyk, finishing with 14 points. While the points are nice, he demonstrated his defensive upside by gathering two steals and two blocks. Over his last seven games, he is averaging 1.3 steals and 1.0 block. While these don't jump off the page, it shows what he could do with more minutes. This boost remains short-term, however, and will disappear once Hassan Whiteside (knee) returns to action.
