Timberwolves' Andrew Wiggins: Chips in across the board
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Wiggins collected 20 points (8-24 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 118-112 loss to the 76ers.

Wiggins continued his poor shooting of late, finishing with 20 points on 24 shots. He is not a player to shy away from a shot, and this was on show tonight. Over his last five outings, he is averaging just 14 points, while shooting 33 percent from the floor and 63 percent from the charity stripe. He continues to frustrate owners and provides nothing much besides scoring with the occasional steal. He will look to turn things around against Sacramento on Thursday.

Timberwolves' Jimmy Butler: Scores season-high 38 points in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Butler tallied 38 points (15-33 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 45 minutes during Tuesday's 118-112 loss to Philadelphia.

Butler put the team on his back, but it wasn't enough to pull out the victory. He was extremely aggressive on offense, putting up almost a third of the teams shot attempts for the game. This will be a tough loss for the team to deal with, as they had a lead late in the game and basically disappeared in the overtime period. They will look to get things back on track against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.

Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns: Plays 48 minutes in overtime loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Towns finished with 19 points (6-16 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 16 rebounds, four steals, three blocks and two assists in 48 minutes during Tuesday's 118-112 loss to the 76ers.

Towns struggled from the field Tuesday, finishing with just 19 points on 16 shots. The team continues to struggle to utilize Towns on the offensive end, as evidenced by his 16 shots in 48 minutes, compared to Jimmy Butler's 33 shots in 45 minutes. Scoring aside, Towns was excellent in other areas, collecting a season-high four steals while adding three blocks and 16 rebounds. The efficiency is merely an outlier, and he will look to bounce back in a favorable matchup against the Kings on Thursday.

Timberwolves' Nemanja Bjelica: Ruled out against Philadelphia
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Bjelica (foot) won't play Tuesday against Philadelphia, Jerry Zgoda of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Bjelica has missed the last nine games due to a foot injury. According to coach Tom Thibodeau, there is currently no timetable for Bjelica's return. During the 29-year-old's absence, Anthony Brown will likely see a slight increase in playing time.

Timberwolves' Nemanja Bjelica: Remains without timetable for return
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Bjelica (foot) remains without a timetable for a return, Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports. "We don't want to put a timetable on it," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "We thought it would be sooner, but when he's healthy, he's healthy. We don't want to go back and forth with it. He has ramped it up conditioning-wise, so that's a good sign. He's a little better."

Bjelica continues to work his way back from a sprained right foot and while coach Thibideau indicated that he's ramped up his conditioning of late, it still sounds as if Bjelica is going to miss a few more games at least. Until Bjelica is back to participating in full-contact practices, a return shouldn't be considered forthcoming, though more updates should be provided as he continues to up his participation over the next week or two.
