Magic's Wesley Iwundu: Set to start Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Iwundu will start Wednesday's game against the Clippers.

With the Magic dealing with several injuries, the rookie out of Kansas State will move into the starting lineup for the first time in his NBA career. Iwundu played a career-high (by far) 26 minutes Saturday in Atlanta and finished with seven points, three rebounds and two assists.

Magic's Arron Afflalo: Ruled out Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Afflalo (back) will not play during Wednesday's game against the Clippers.

Afflalo did not go through the team's morning shootaround, so the fact he isn't playing Wednesday doesn't come as much of a surprise. In his stead, Wesley Iwundu will draw the start at shooting guard.

Magic's Aaron Gordon: To remain out Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Gordon (concussion) has not made it through the league's protocol yet and will be sidelined for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.

There was some hope that Gordon might see the floor Wednesday after taking contact at morning shootaround. But, after being looked at by an independent doctor, the forward will have to remain in street clothes. In the previous game Gordon missed, Mario Hezonja drew the start, playing 31 minutes and posting seven points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. Wes Iwundu came off the bench to provide seven points, three rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes. Marreesse Speights caught a DNP-CD.

Magic's Arron Afflalo: Misses Wednesday morning shootaround
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Afflalo (back) did not participate in morning shootaround due to "lingering pain and stiffness" and should still be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.

Though he's officially questionable, the fact that Afflalo missed shootaround doesn't bode well for his status Wednesday. More information should emerge as the team continues preparing for tipoff. If he's ultimately held out, D.J. Augustin and Mario Hezonja may see significant run at shooting guard out of necessity with starter Evan Fournier (ankle) also sidelined. G-League wing Jamel Artis was also called up to the NBA on Wednesday and will be in uniform.

Magic's Arron Afflalo: Status still in question for Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Afflalo (back) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, but doesn't appear optimistic about his chances of suiting up for the contest, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

The Magic will likely wait and see how Afflalo fares during the team's morning shootaround and pregame warmups before determining his fate, but don't be surprised if the veteran is held out for the first time in December. Afflalo has enjoyed a stable role in the Magic's rotation over the last seven games, but is averaging just 3.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per appearance over that span.
