Wizards' John Wall: Drops 31 and 11 in OT defeat to Charlotte
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Wall led the Wizards with 31 points (13-26 FG, 5-6 FT) and 11 assists in a 129-124 overtime defeat to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.

Wall collected just 23 points and 13 assists on 8-of-25 shooting across his two previous games, as he appears to be out of that minor slump. What has fallen off recently is the rebounding though, as he has just 11 rebounds over his last five games. That's quite the fall off, considering he's currently setting a career-low with 3.4 rebounds per game. His steals are also down, as he's setting a career-low in that category as well with just 1.1 thefts per game. That's something that will surely change, as Wall regularly finishes top-10 in that statistic every season.

Wizards' Otto Porter: Scores 12 points in win over Bucks
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Porter scored 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3PT) while adding 11 rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 39 minutes Monday against Milwaukee.

Porter continues to impress as the third option in Washington, holding averages of 15.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game on the season. The 24-year-old is also knocking down 1.9 three-pointers per game at a red-hot 47.0 percent clip, nearly four percentage points better than his career-high mark of 43.4, which he set last season.

Wizards' Otto Porter: Records double-double in win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Porter scored 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt) while adding 11 rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 39 minutes during Monday's 99-88 win over the Bucks.

Porter had a productive game despite a lower-than-average night for one of the league's most accurate scorers, Only LeBron James bests him in overall field goal percentage among small forwards, as he's increased that percentage to 55.7 percent across 15 games. Not only he is a roto-league commodity in that category, but he is also a reliable source for 3-pointers with 31 treys recorded in 2017. It was anticipated that Markieff Morris' return would imply a downtick in production for Porter but he's remained consistent, making him a valuable asset in all formats.

Wizards' Kelly Oubre: Pours in 18 off bench
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Oubre scored 18 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while adding four rebounds in 23 minutes during Friday's 99-88 win over the Bucks,

Oubre has seen his production take a huge uptick in 2017, largely due to an eight -minute increase in usage up from 20.3 minutes to 28.7 minutes so far this year. He's reached double-digit scoring totals in eight of 17 games played so while he's been a sparkplug off the bench with the second and third units, he doesn't have quite enough output to be a viable fantasy option in most formats, although he may have relevance in the deepest of leagues.

Wizards' Bradley Beal: Leads team with 23 points in victory
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Beal posted 23 points 10-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five assists, a steal and a block across 37 minutes in Monday's 99-88 win over the Bucks,

Beal became the second player in NBA histiry to reach 700 3-pointers as he led his team to the win. The former Florisda standout has seen increased production while John Wall (knee) plays through pain in his knee. Currently he is outpacing his 2016 averages in points, assists and steals and is reliable (and often reasonably priced) option in all formats.
