Roster Report

Roster Report · Notes, Quotes · Making Magic disappear was no small trick

--F Marvin Williams picked an excellent time to turn in a solid performance. His 10 points turned out to be a huge boost to a Hawks bench effort that sorely needed someone other than Jamal Crawford to get going. The Hawks will need even more from him against the Bulls in the next round.

--F Josh Smith was a miserable 3-for-14 from the floor in Game 6 and seems to have decided against playing the inside game that served him so well last season. The Hawks need him much more focused and locked in defensively on what they're doing. If he can't control himself, than something's got to give.

--C Jason Collins and Zaza Pachulia combined for a total of six buckets the entire series, but their defensive work on Dwight Howard was crucial to the Hawks' cause. They won't be deployed in the same manner against the Bulls, a team that utilizes much quicker and athletic big men than the Magic did.

--G Kirk Hinrich (strained right hamstring) is not expected to play in the second-round series against the Bulls.

--Point guard Kirk Hinrich

--Shooting guard Joe Johnson

--Power forward Josh Smith

--Center Al Horford

--Center Jason Collins

--Guard Jamal Crawford

--Forward/center Zaza Pachulia

--Forward/center Hilton Armstrong

--Forward Marvin Williams
