Roster · Notes, quotes · Getting inside

--G/F Christian Eyenga was on the court at the Staples Center before the Clippers' game on Saturday when he saw a man wielding a knife. "Of course, it scared me," he said. "I heard one of the cheerleaders say, 'The guy has a gun.' He might have killed everybody. I just started running." He's still not sure how someone with a knife could have made it to the court. "I don't know how it could happen," Eyenga said. "I've never seen something like that. I hope I don't see it again." G Manny Harris said he was in the locker room watching things unfold on a monitor. "It was like a movie," he said. Coach Byron Scott said he'd never experienced something like that. "That was the first time and hopefully the last time," he said. "That was wild. I'm glad there was nobody in the arena."

--G Baron Davis, troubled by back spasms, is scheduled to practice on Tuesday and then face New Jersey on Wednesday. "He did some shooting and stretching," coach Byron Scott said. "He feels a whole lot better today. We'll evaluate him to see how he feels."

--G-F Christian Eyenga said he plans on staying in Cleveland most of the summer unless there's a lockout. "I don't know if there's going to be a lockout," he said. "If they do (lock out), I might go back to Spain for two weeks. I think there's going to be a lockout. I just don't know for how long."

--C Anderson Varejao (torn tendon in right foot) had surgery on Feb. 12. He'll miss three to four months.

--C Semih Erden (strained adductor muscle) has appeared in only one game since being traded to the Cavs. He's close to returning to the lineup, possibly on Wednesday against New Jersey.

--G Baron Davis (back spasms) has missed the last two games. He could return against New Jersey on Wednesday.
