--G Richard Hamilton got back into a smooth offensive rhythm after three spotty performances following his return to the rotation. Hamilton scored 20 points against San Antonio on Wednesday on 9-for-15 shooting, relying on his old mid-range game rather than straying out to the three-point arc. He tried only one three-pointer and missed it. Hamilton, who had shot 12-for-38 in the previous three games, reached 20 points for the first time since he scored a season-high 35 in Toronto on Dec. 22.
--C Greg Monroe crashed the offensive boards for most of his 16 points. He had nine offensive rebounds as the Pistons outscored the Spurs 31-9 on second-chance points. He has 13 double-doubles, including six in the last eight games.
"He started off a little slow and then picked it up," coach John Kuester said. "Playing against Tim Duncan, he's got to have that focus the entire game."
--C Ben Wallace traveled with the team during its current three-game road trip, but it's unlikely he will play. Wallace was deeply affected by the death of his older brother, Rev. James McBride, who was a father figure and mentor to him. He has not played the last six games after starting most of the season.
--F Jonas Jerebko (partial right Achilles tear) underwent surgery Oct. 8. He could return during the last few games of the season.
--G Terrico White (fractured bone in right foot) was injured during the Pistons' preseason opener, and he underwent surgery Oct. 8. He is expected to return before the end of the season.
