Getting inside · Notes, quotes · Roster

--G Deron Williams, playing in his third game after missing four straight with a strained wrist tendon, dished nine assists and scored 21 while logging 38 minutes in Monday night's win at Sacramento. The Jazz All-Star has averaged 10.7 assists, 20.3 points and 38.3 minutes in his three games back.

--C Al Jefferson had a team-high 23 points in Monday night's victory over Sacramento. Jefferson is averaging 22.6 points over his last five games, and he's had 20-plus in each of those.

"I just took what the defense gave me," said Jefferson, who got Kings rookie DeMarcus Cousins into early foul trouble. "They let me in the paint, and I took advantage of it. They gave me the jumper; it was falling for me.

"My pump-fake is part of my game. If you go for it, shame on him. I took advantage of it."

--G Raja Bell shot 8-for-16 from the field and finished with 17 points Monday night against Sacramento. Bell is shooting 20-of-35 (57.1 percent) from the field over his last three games.

--F/C Francisco Elson (inflamed left knee) did not dress for Monday night's game at Sacramento. Elson also missed a Jan. 22 game due to quadriceps tendinitis in the same leg. It's not known when he'll return.

--C Mehmet Okur (strained lower back) was re-injured Jan. 28 against Minnesota. The former All-Star has been limited to 13 games this season, and 12.9 minutes per game, because of Achilles tendon surgery rehab, a mild ankle sprain and recurring back issues. Okur didn't travel with the team to Sacramento for Monday night's game against the Kings, and it remains to be seen when he will return.

--F Andrei Kirilenko (sprained left ankle) got injured late in a Jan. 31 victory over Charlotte. He returned Monday night at Sacramento and finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, two assists and a steal while playing 37 minutes in a win over the Kings.

--G Deron Williams (strained tendon, right wrist) re-injured his wrist in Monday's win at Sacramento. Williams, who recently missed four straight games because of the strain, suggested the injury is something he'll simply have to deal with in upcoming games.
